i can *always* manage more cake, danko!
i haven't weighed myself for a few days, sarah, but last i looked i was about 12st 4 - i'm 5' 7". i need to be at least a stone lighter to feel good about how i look. but (see above) i like cake! and wine! and chocs! and crisps! and loads of healthy stuff, too, but in vast quantities!
i received that wii fitness instructor for my birthday, so with that, the wii fit, my bike & general racing around, i have no excuse for continuing to put on weight (which i have been doing steadily for about 9 months now).Mortgage free as of 11/11/15 !

Oooh, I like cake and wine and chocs and crisps, and not in small quantities either!
I will have to alternate between running when I can and the Wii Fit when I can't... oh yeah, and eat less!... oh, and crunches for my stomach, which is the bit I hate the most!
Diet starts tomorrow!

P.S I would like to join the diet thread I think!!
Can I just say Lil that for a diet I don't think you are eating enough? Which I know sounds daft but it is true.
As you are eating so little your body is retaining everything it can because it doesn't know when the next food will be available so you won't lose much weight.
I have tried Slimming World before and when done properly you can lose loads of weight, basically you eat 'free' food all day long starting at breakfast and this kicks starts your metabolism which goes into overdrive and helps you lose weight.
Free food being things like fruit, vegetables, pasta, rice etc. (The best thing is that some of the packet mixes of Batchelor's Pasta n Sauce are free so you could eat these all day long!! - a very quick food!!)
You are also allowed a certain amount of dairy and carbohydrates.
I can post more if anyone is interested.
Hi Eager_Elephant,
Great to hear that you are going to join the PAD diet ..
Thank you for your comments , they are very much appreciated ...
I agree with what you say about not eating enough .... although i have " more than " made up for it today ! ... To be honest i am a very " erratic dieter " ! .... So some days i eat alot less than what i should ... but then other days i go waaaaaaaayyyyyyyy over the top ! ...... Not the ideal way to diet , i know , but i think that's why i find it it alot easier to " count calories " .... My " extra " weight that i have put on in the last year was mainly due to medication that i was taking at the time ..... the rest is because i'm a pig !! :rotfl:
Years ago i went to Slimming World but as i only had less than a stone to lose at the time , i wasn't there very long .... It took me just 3 weeks to lose it ......and yes it did stay off for years ! .... No doubt their " methods " have changed alot since then , so i would be interested in reading any info that you have time to " post " :T ....
