I would like to offer a heartfeltto all of the lovely people of PAD for their help, support and hilarity since I joined in November. It was quite exciting when I paid off my overdraft, but today.....
I PAID OFF MY BARCLAYCARD!!!
Ok, back to earth with a bump, I still have over £6,000 on a loan, but this is manageable, and not having to pay a credit card means that I can build up savings for the first time in my life. I can pay off the loan early, but if, god forbid, I lose my job, it won't be the end of the world.
So, PAD of £40 to Barclaycard
If you need me, I'll be quietly thinking about how proud I am

Hey!
Woo hoo! to those clearing debts today!!! Very impressed! :T:T:j:T:T
I have read the other thread and what strikes me is how mean some people are. I really don't understand what would make someone be so awful to someone who is looking for help. It makes me soooooo angry:mad:
I have to say, that all of you folks on this thread are just lovely! Well done to those standing up to the meanies:T

Anybody fancy starting the PAD diet again ? I'm starting mine tomorrow if anybody wants to join me ? ...... weigh in tomorrow ..... you don't have to put down your starting weight .... just how much you lose ( or gain ! ) each week .... Anybody up for it ??? ..... Or am i on my own !! ? ....
I am slowly working my way through all the posts I have missed! PaD diet sounds great if you'll have me. Have just stopped going to a well known diet group(!) and going it alone to save myself £5 a week. Having support on here for that as well as clearing my debts would be great!Too ashamed to admit how much I owe!!0
