I would like to offer a heartfelt to all of the lovely people of PAD for their help, support and hilarity since I joined in November. It was quite exciting when I paid off my overdraft, but today.....
I PAID OFF MY BARCLAYCARD!!!
Ok, back to earth with a bump, I still have over £6,000 on a loan, but this is manageable, and not having to pay a credit card means that I can build up savings for the first time in my life. I can pay off the loan early, but if, god forbid, I lose my job, it won't be the end of the world.
So, PAD of £40 to Barclaycard
If you need me, I'll be quietly thinking about how proud I am

A woman, in her fifties, is at home happily jumping unclothed on her bed and squealing with delight.
Her husband watches her for a while and asks, "Do you have any idea how ridiculous you look? What's the matter with you?"
The woman continues to bounce on the bed and says, "I don't care what you think. I just came from having a mammogram and the doctor says that not only am I healthy but I have the breasts of an 18 year old."
The husband replies, "What did he say about your 55 year old ar5e??!!
