New thread woo hoo!Ta hopeful 1.Flower08 They tried to say we had to pay the housing benefit arrears back in 3 wks but I stuck to my guns (and politely)said no way.I think I had to do a financial statement so that it's prove for their records that we couldn't afford the payment plan that they suggested.Who could??Lol.Anyone who is claiming housing benefit is generally running a tight ship anyway! Then they suggested an amount with me and I sort of haggled.Be firm and don't allow yourself to be bullied (if that makes sense?!)x:female:Our 2 gorgeous little girls born 2006 and 2010

Thanks Twinkles. Luckily OH had his sensible head on when we got the letter and i had my stupid head on!! I went to grab the credit card to pay it off, where as OH worked out what we can afford and will be ringing them tomorrow to negotiate. So fingers crossed! Will update tomorrow with new payments that need to be made, feeling a lot better about things now!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0
