Hi all, no pad today as I did a big one the other day to last till payday now. Just thought I'd pop my head in to see if everyone had a nice enjoyable day in the sunshine :-)
Hope everyone is all good!

I took full advantage of the sunshine and did five loads of washing and hung them outside to get the fresh line-dried smellI still have a full washing basket to clear though :rotfl:
I also cooked the M&S £15 deal for me, t'other half, flatmate and our two friends who have kindly let us use their shower while ours has been out of commission. I only had to top up the veg a little as the chicken was HUGE and easily fed us. I'm also going to have a bash at making chicken soup out of the leftovers but don't really know what I'm doing....!0 -
Aah lovely I love line dried washing! Unfortunately the crazy next door flat neighbour always gets to the washing line earlier than me so I end up having to lug the airer outside instead (shared garden for the flats). I swear last summer I put the washing in overnight and got up at 6 to get it on the line as it was bed sheets - her stuff was already there...!!! (it wasn't the night before!)
Was the M&S deal good then, I know there was some debate about the size of the deserts - ws it big enough for four?

The chicken I got fed five (with some to spare) and I got the Belgian Chocolate Cheesecake which also fed five no problems. It was really good. I actually found it better value than the meal for two...!0 -

Happy Mothers Day all you loverly Mummies!
Ill pop in later to post my Pad, still suffering the dreaded "morning after the night before"
The boys as usual woke me at 6am
I had the M&s meal last night, we got the turkey/swede and carrot/apple crumble and chardonnay.
Unfortunately I drank the bottle to myself while dh cooked (I never touch alcohol as a rule), got very drunk, barely touched my tea and fell asleep shortly after so no idea how it tasted although ds (2) and dd (7) enjoyed it and dh shared the carrot/swede with some lamb he bought elsewhere.
The crumble is 4 small pots so going to nibble that later and ill let you know what I think, dh saved some of the turkey from last night so gonna have some sarnies so its not wasted too.
Ok im off to go check internet banking and see what damage I did yesterday.
Bought mine and dhs mum the orchid plants from M&S plus the meal deal and we all know marks and sparks aint cheap
Have a good day all and hope you get spoilt/spoil your Mums
