  • Happy Mothers Day to all mothers and sons/daughters of...

Lovely sunshine here today, so we're off for a family walk a little later.

PAD for today = £3.22 to Egg.

I've got some ebay stuff finishing today and am keeping my fingers crossed that I make £50+ so that I can draw it out of paypal to make an extra big PAD before the end of the month :D , I've not got much money left in my account and it seems such a long way to payday :o .

    Have a lovely day all!

    Good morning!

It's payday tomorrow, so I have cleared out all the "spare" money in my accounts (I split my money into virtual pots when I get paid) which makes my PAD £11.99 today.

My spreadsheet tells me that I have made PADs totalling £303.29 this month, paying off my overdraft, setting up my first emergency fund that I haven't dipped into before payday and bringing my Barclaycard down to £650. smilley_dance.gifsmilley_dance.gif

I don't think I can begin to say how much I love this thread, the people on it and the impact it is having on my attitude to money. Honestly guys, you rock my world! thankyou.gifHShugs2.gif

    Have a great Sunday,

    Happy Mothers Day everyone!

Today has made me realise i am very lucky indeed! Wont be seeing my mum today but will be next week. My thoughts are going out to Jade Goody's family, even though they all knew it was going to happen, what a day for her to pass away.

Will update later with PAD later

    Hi everyone

Wow - part 3 :j . I feel like I am going to burst with pride :smileyhea .

I am going to join in the PAD challenge again.

I am firstly saving for as much as I can towards my new motability car (£350). I don't think I will get all of the money for this as I'm looking at a date of 18th April at the earliest (could be longer) so not that much time. After this, I will be paying off £500 that I owe my mum.

My payment today is all my coppers of 93p :D .

    Emily xx

    Hi Emily!! sfleurs.gif

It's good to see you back. I think every member of this ever increasing thread is soooooooooo grateful to you for starting this idea. I'm glad you're back to share the success and fun xxx

Lemma - up until the age of 2 1/2 my LO was always full of cold feeling_yuck.gif, but they do get stronger as they get bigger. I usually give him minadex (??) which my health visitor recommended. It's in an orange box and is a tonic which has iron in. My little one also had bouts of being anaemic when he had pneumonia which obviously didn't help. He's just turned 6 and is so much healthier. He has fewer colds and when he does get one it doesn't last as long ymca.gif

    Hi everyone

Well, I'm back padding today as have some change and don't think will need to buy much this week and will get paid Maternity Allowance next Friday (4 weeks in arrears!). I have had to use the CC for some stuff that needed to be paid - but will pay that back as soon as the MA comes through so no interest!. Just joined £2 savers as want to start putting something aside for Christmas - last year was horrible as we were absolutely skint from the end of November until January when OH's Student Loan payment came through. Also sold a few items on Ebay (including OH's bike for £100 :T) and more ending today so that will all go towards pads when the money gets into bank account. I noticed that Paypal don't charge you anymore for withdrawals under £50 :j

    Todays pad is £4.92
    LBM 31/01/2009: £19,422
    Chrimbo crackers: £207.17/£510
