    Hello my dfw chums :hello:

Congratulations on the great news newmum.

Shopgirl, i try to pay a minimum of £1 on each of my debts everyday. It soon adds up and i'm already seeing results. :j By doing things this way, for once i'll actually be paying off more than the minimum a month:T.

The peeps on here are super-friendly and very encouraging.

Good luck in your pursuit of becoming debt-free. :T

Love the emoticons you add to your posts terri, they always brighten up an already up-beat thread :D. I'm useless at stuff like that and have to make do with the emoticons on here. :rotfl:

Ok, i'm pretty much broke till payday sooooo:

    Barclaycard £1
    JD Williams £1

    PAD £2

    Morning all,

£2.52 to savings this morning and £5 to Barclaycard although when I tried to send the bill payment as normal (Faster Payments) I got a message on my Halifax Online Banking saying "The recipient's bank is unable to accept your payment. Please contact the recipient for further details or use our bill payment service instead." Any ideas?

I clicked the button to send the payment when possible, so I'm still counting it as a payment as it should debit sometime - who knows when though!

    Total PAD £7.52

Good morning! We are continuing to tackle our debts bit by bit. There were around 28 people who made payments yesterday ranging from 22p - £47. These little payments still added up to....

Here's a very random bit of information:
The male praying mantis cannot copulate while its head is attached to its body. The female initiates s ex by ripping the male's head off.
    Food for thought hey?

Hi f_f. I find that Halifax can be quite random with their faster payments service. On Thursday i had the same message for Cap 1 which normally goes through fine. I thought it was down to Easter, yet Friday they sent something else through without any probs???!!;)

  • My loan DD went out today of £200.84 .
Compulsory minimum payments are going to be my only PADs for a while as I'm in overdraft for a little while and April is a very heavy month for outgoings. Much as I like doing additional PADs, I won't be making them with overdraft money as I see no point.
