On Spring bank holiday there are many traditions:
In Endon in Staffordshire, the villagers hold a fayre. Local men hold a competition, known as 'Tossing the Sheaf', in which they compete to see who can toss a bale of straw the highest.

Morning all - and Congratulatualtions Newmum.

My PaD today is a more modest £2.01 to BoS cc but in three days I have managed to put nearly £80 into my jar to make an extra payment to BoS cc at the end of the month - and it is all down to you wonderful people and the held and support that you give.
    Many thanks to you all.

    Hello all. :hello:

Early coffee in the cafe a few doors down from me - and I bought my laptop for the free wi-fi. Missing my internet at home already, but it should be up and running by the end of the week and I'll be able to post PADs from work.

Hope everyone had a lovely Easter - and enjoys the bank holiday today.

I had one of those posh Cadbury luxury eggs - which is two Easter eggs - one inside the other. Will be attacking that later.

£18 for Capital One today. Really want to get this down to somewhere near the £3,500 mark by the end of April so going to live on thin air and make some bigger PADs this week to help things along.

Keep going all and well done on posting PADs over the holiday!!
