    Hi All

Right, some of you old-timers may remember me from a few months back, well I have just managed to lose 1st 9lb in less than 3wks :rotfl::rotfl:

By giving birth to my lovely baby Kai......

Which incidentally is the exact amount I gained during pregnancy, so I am now back to where I was before falling pregnant :j:j:j

I am still not sure whether to try and go it alone, or join up to group on Wednesday....not sure if I can justify the cost though!!

So yesterday was my first day of 'trying' to get back on plan... I did OK but managed to use 20syns, so not great. Today I feel a bit more optimistic and a bit more determined. I have used, so far 5 1/2Syns:) I had Weetabix for breakfast, a massive salad for lunch (with cheese) and strawberries with Muller. I am yet to find something for dinner later, but am having a green day so can always just have some jp's and beans:D

I will try and post whenever I get the time to, but will definitely be lurking and reading:)

    Mel x
Hi Mel! :hello:Congrats on the new arrival and also for controlling the weight gain so impressively :T Welcome back too. Some of us are still around but one or two seem to have fallen by the wayside. :D

Well peeps I hope you don't mind me joining you

I went to Slimming World last year and managed to lose 1 stone although that took me nearly 6 months, anyway I stopped going last June as it wasnt' working anymore ( or I wasn't doing it right?) and to be honest was not over impressed with my consultant.

I have managed to maintain and am the exact weight I was when I stopped going in June last year but haven't managed to lose any more so I am taking the plunge and joining up again (a different group)

I know one of the reasons that I haven't lost any is my thyroid has been playing up again but that seems to be back under control now (fingers crossed)

It is my first night tonight and as I want to lose a stone before the end of May when I go on holiday but for some reason I am really, really nervous. I am quite interested in the extra easy diet but am not sure if I wil be able to get my head around it as am used to red and green, anyway, we will see.

Good luck to anyone who has their weigh in tonight

...went a bit quiet this morning didn't it. I reckon there was problems with the upgrade. I've not spotted anything new on the user interface?

Anyway, I went easter egg shopping at Morrisons today and got myself a cream egg too (9 syns). Although, i did let it melt in the mouth which probably consitutes food abuse taking the syns to 175. ;)

Hello Mel by the way and congratulations.....there was some stuff on the thread a while back about new mums and the SW diet. I didn't pay much attention being a bloke. Someone might recall whether it would be useful for you.

Tonight I am going to try to make the meat balls from first principles in a tomatoe sauce with an acompanying stir fry. I do struggle with stir fry as with only being able to use frylight i add some water and before I know it, or the water has evaporated away, the stir fry is over cooked. I probably need to stand by the pan adding water a teaspoon at a time.

Anyone growing some food this year? I'm growing runner beans as they always seem pricey, even in Lidl. They are great with imaginary butter.

    Pete.
