Hello, I am back again. I am going to re join slimming world yet again ( 5th time ) i have put on over a stone from last year and am disgusted with myself. My first class is wed. i really have to get into the mode for slimming and healthy eating.... I just seem to loose interest, my clothes dont fit and i am bursting out of my work uniform.....its so uncomfortable......i could cry...but its all my own fault....i drink alot too which does not help as i eat more after a few glasses of wine......when all my good intentions go out the window.
but.......I AM DETERMINED.....I have had a lot of support on here from Angie and several others so here we go again. are people finding the new EE easy or not ?
i will be on here religiously and look reading other peopled food diaries as it gives me ideas.....

Well I'm another one that has been concentrating too much on what I can eat rather that what I should eat, the scales just aren't going down.....up infact - despite my increased exercise regime so I'm going to try and shake things up today and try extra hard, although first day of the Easter holidays with 3 manic kids and the desperate need to do a food shop might not be the best day to start, will test my willpower that's for sure.

I have been trying extra easy but struggling with only 1 HEA & HEB so might need to go back to red & green.

Here's what I think I am going to eat today:

B: Fruit Salad (a fellow SW friend made this for me it is yummy!) & Muller Yog, Tea (1 sugar = 1 syn)
L: Not sure yet - taking kids for a picnic! I will prob eat before we go out, maybe beans on toast.
    S: Apples & Mullers
D: Making meatballs from SW magazine - just hope I have enough ingredients in without need for shopping trip.

Morning all. Just want to report that at my 43 week weigh in, I've reached my 20% milestone. I can't believe I've lost a whole 1/5th of my starting body weight. In one way it's quite scary but at the same time I'm so please with myself.

I never thought I would have been able to stick to the plan for a month let alone nearly a year. I feel so much better in myself and the shape and size of my body is changing all of the time. I'm a new woman! I've still got a long way to go, but I've come this far, I can do it!

Hi My husband and I have been lurking around this thread for the last couple of days. We joined SW three weeks ago and are doing okay at the moment - I've lost 11lb and the OH has lost 9lb. This thread is helping us both stay on track and it's lovely reading other people's experiences and tips and recipes, etc. So we'd like to be a part of it if we can. We have our WI on a Wednesday so hopefully more good news this week- even though OH slipped up the other night and had a curry! Well we can't be perfect all of the time :rotfl:

That said, us OH's do tend to be perfect most of the time :p
Welcome, and what a good start you have made.

I've got the munchies today so have had a batchelors rice mid afternoon and I have a SW quiche in the oven right now.

Sainsbury do a BGTY maple syrup flavoured cereal bar that is 3.5 syns or 1 HEB. It's almost like toffee popcorn and perfect for going to the cinema, especially if you break bits off for eating.
