Gaa ! typical the scales are broken but I feel heavier than last week so I'll add a few lbs to last weeks weight as my starting point.

todays menu is : (going to have to improvise some things as can't eat fibre and will have to check syns out when I get the book)

    original day

    rice krispies - healthy B
    milk - healthy A
    tsp sugar - ?syns

    rich tea - ?syns

    ham scrambled eggs - free
    1 slice bread - healthy B

    mashed potato - healthy B
    carrots - free
    peas -free
    gravy - ?syns
    stewing steak - free
tiny amount of pastry - ?syns (not ideal but out for tea and this is whats being made :()

is that too many healthy B's? I dont think rice krispies are a healthy b but it is the only cereal I am allowed to eat.

you have 3 healthy B's on your list hun.
Is it all breakfast cereals you cant have? you could have eggs for breakfast and save your HE's maybe?
    Hope that helps .

thanks Olly that helps. I can only eat rice krispies, cant eat skin on potatoes as it has fibre, and all bread has to be white. Im thinking maybe slimming world isnt for me :/

  • Aww what a shame jamtart :-( I must admit i would be stuck to work that out with slimming world.I dont know what to suggest when theres so many things you cant have. This sounds a little odd, but would you be able to do the green plan?? You could have unlimited potatoes, the peas would be free and you could have quorn too, and maybe fish or meat as HE's .I still dont know what you would do about fibre though. Or maybe extra easy? that could be an option?

  • hiya everyone, the scan bran choc cake sound lovely i'm gonna try that.

i lost 2 pounds last week was bit disappointed as thats the weight loss for 2 weeks rather than one as had to miss a class. god knows why i hadnt lost more as i've been so good! anyway hopefully this week will be ok.

Does anyone have any suggestions for salads on green days - i'm getting very fed up with cottage cheese.

    Hi and Wellcome Jamtart.
I know its not the norm as Rice Krispies dont count as a HE, im sure that it would still be ok in your case, as long as you have it as 28g and count as 1 HE. Most healthy extras are between 5-6 syns so if your still counting it in your daily allowance it wouldnt be that bad. I agree with Olly and id have some green days so you can use your other HE to have fish or meat, this way youll still have a varied and healthy diet. The fact you cant have fibre may slow your loss down a bit, so id drink plenty of water to help it al on its way iykwim :o

Morning all, good luck with your SW journeys! I am on my 3rd week of SW at home & WI was this morning, lost another 1 1/4lbs - very pleased with that as had a meal/drinks out last week, plus at the weekend I had pizza (HM) at least twice. Slow & steady for me is going to be the wtg:D

Bit concerned this week though as have at least 3 meals out; one of which I already have the menu for. If I can STS next Monday I will be happy....

Today I used Quark to make mackerel pate (in the magazine) & it was lovely, both DH & I really enjoyed it & it was so simple to do. I had mine on Ryvita as per the mag but he had it on rolls, lovely. Got back late tonight so for tea will have a jacket spud with something, but need to plan for tomorrow.

Which magazine was the pate in please? I can't find it in Octobers and I've bought some mackerel! :D

Think I'm gonna put onin my 2nd week :( It's been a manic one and just didn't get any better. Slapped wrist and move on. :o
