VICXEN - green does have the ability to make you feel bloated but don't worry - if you're sticking with it then you'll lose weight! Drink lots of water and you should feel better on red days. Sadly my fave is green!

Sophster - you have the flexible thing right - except you don't have to stay within your weekly target - you could set 70 just for the one evening out and still have 15 a day on the other days. It just means that they know on holiday you're likely to have more syn type things but if you keep cou nting (regardless of how high) then you remain 'in control'. It doesn't say that you can do 50 a day and still lose weight - it's just the 'control' factor of counting and being aware of what you're putting in your mouth! There is also no way you should be feeling hungry on SW - if you are then you're not eating enough! HTH

    I can't see three HE's - I see 2 HEa's and 2HEb's on each day

The Pasta n Sauce would be free if you only made it with water.

It's your preference but if you used Frylight for your stir-fry etc you would save a few sysn a day instead of using them on oil!

Don't forget you can have 2 Alpen Light bars as 1 HEb - have both as these are part of your fibre intake.
Hope you're measuring your milk for teas - it's easy to go over!

Other than that it's fine

I misunderstood what she had written when she said HEA1 and HEA2 i thought she meant it was 1xHEA and then 2xHEAB

Thanks to smegs - but I can only see 2 HEAs each day too, the other bits I counted as syns ....

Thanks catt, I cant believe that I am not cheating! The only reason I am not using Frylight is that I shelled out 2 weeks ago for a Weightwatchers spray thingy !!! Doh! Have now defected to SW, but yes I think you are right, I might stop using the spray and revert back to frylight, which was always fine for me. I know some poeple think its vile but I never had a problem with it, was just being a snob!!

I made the Pasta n Sauce with water so that was good :)
Er no I am not measuring the milk for teas, I did set out an old baby's botle (HUSBAND VERY WORRIED :rotfl:) to use for measuring it out each day so must actually do that!

.... Right ... have just done it, actually used old water bottle. Looks like loads (I use skimmed) so think I was ok the other 2 days.

I cant believe I am not cheating, I eat when I am hungry, my meals have been delish, and I havent felt deprived at all :)

I had the second Alpen light for supper last night, thanks for the reminder. I cant believe that I have found a diet that allows me 2 cereal bars a day within my "minimum" allowance - its FAB :)

Also in case it helps anyone, for breakfast I have been having a banana before I leave for the schol run, then when I get back I am having what my consultant suggested :
    - make plain oatso simple (HEB) up with water (prefer to leave HEA milk allowance for drinks)
and when its cooked stir in a muller light. It cools it down to eating temperature straight away, flavours it and makes it much more volume and tastes really nice. Obviously it does taste of yoghurt but its much nicer than just plain oastso simple and syn free) whereas the flavoured oatso simples are a couple of syns I believe).
    Hope that helps someone.

Right, just off to eat mine now!

Thanks to Jill for the Moussaka recipe

    ...
But I would say that I found it hard to stop feeling hungry this week, so definitely not sustainable in the long term.
    ..
You're welcome for the recipe. Tell us how it turns out!
I've only been doing it 2 days and can honestly say that I havent felt hungry. Well I have, but then I've eaten something!
Maybe if you post a couple of typical day's food diaries on here everyone can suggest where you could use your HE allowances more efficiently ?

    Good luck with the moussaka,

I don't like porridge so I stir a muller (other yoghurts are available) through cooked pudding rice for brekkie - YUMMY!

JillD - if the WW spray thingy is olive oil can you add a bit o'water to it? Some peeps on here say if you add 1/3 water to an olive oil spray then it's 'free' like Frylight it. I've just bought an olive oil mister as for some things I prefer it to Frylight.

    Green day for me;
B - mushrooms, fried eggs & baked beans
L - savoury rice or pasta, beans & cheese (HEA)
D - shepherds pie - beef will be my HEB's
snks - tea (HEa), diet coke, banana, yoghurt, mugshot

I've just had some on my bread instead of marge to save on syns. It tastes like philadelphia, so OK for this.
