    Hi Eric
I have Whole Earth Original Crunchy peanut butter & it contains roasted peanuts (97%) palm oil (sustainable source) & sea salt.
I love it but don't eat a lot. I keep a jar in in my drawer at work & if I feel the need for an afternoon snack I have a couple of teaspoons straight from the jar & it really hits the spot. It's certainly helped me to resist the regular rounds of home made cakes & biscuits I'm faced with. :A

Spirits are ok, with a diet mixer, but your body will use the alcohol for fuel instead of the fat so you wont lose on those days.

    Morning :hello:

alias, glad to see you posting :)

Eric, I do eat peanut butter but I'm doing low-gi rather than low-carb. You can buy no added sugar versions (Whole Earth) but this has palm oil added. I found one in Tesco (Peanut Butter & Co. Crunch Time) that has no hydrogenated oil, gluten free, no added sugar (ingredients: peanuts 99.5%, salt) & it's absolutely lush. Carbs are slightly more than Whole Earth because there's no added oil.

I'm having BNS soup again for lunch, can't wait, it was gorgeous yesterday :D Better go & get some breakfast now, I'm absolutely ravenous!!

Hope everyone doing ok today

Eveniong folks - last week was pretty rough, my recovery slowed and I was very lethargic and sleepy. By Saturday it was obvious that I had a bladder infection so this morning took myself off to a Walk-In Centre (first time driving for 3 weeks :j) and the nurse confirmed it with a dip test. Was out of there in about 15 minutes with some antibiotics - fabulous. Only had 1 so far but already I feel much more bouncy and full of life again... well, maybe not 'full' but certainly perked up loads.

Food has been a mixture of good and bad - 'good' cos I've been sitting on my sofa for 3 weeks doing nothing and I want to start to lose weight again, and 'bad' cos I've indulged in comfort food too much cos I felt rotten. Today the house/fridge has been emptied of the 'bad' stuff (mostly down my throat) and tomorrow is a fresh, new and invigorating start.

Sorry, haven't read much of the thread but hope that everyone, new and old, is making progress in the right direction!

    :A
