I think I'm going to follow Lyle MacDonald's rapid fat loss
Welcome, its a friendly thread. Haven't heard of this diet can you give us more details. I am currently off diet and plan to start again at the beginning of the week. Maybe something with a different twist would help me get back on track.0 -

Thank you - its a modfied version of a PMSF - a type of diet medical people prescribe to super morbidly obese people. Basically, very high in protein to prevent muscle loss but keeps calories low, low fat and low carb. Its not for everyone but you get amazing results. I could email you the ebook if you would like. Its about £40 to buy it so you would save some money! There are many things in life that will catch your eye, only a few will catch your heart. Pursue those.0 -

it would be very interesting to read the book however it does seam aimed at body builders who want to get down to unhealthy levels of fat for competition. Its clear you have to follow a pretty intense weight training routine as well.
Please note: the UD2 is an advanced diet for advanced dieters and is only for those seeking very low levels of body fat. A male should be at 12-15% body fat or lower and females at 21-24% body fat or lower prior to considering the UD2. As well trainees must have at least 6 months of consistent training in the weight room under their belt before they even consider the UD2.0 -

Hi Eric
Thank you for your post. I'm not going to do the Ultimate Diet - UD2! My bodyfat percentage is far higher than that - I'd end up in hospital. I'm going to do the Rapid Fat Loss diet (RFL). He was written a few books and really knows his stuff, there are articles on his website that make interesting reading. If you would like a copy of his RFL ebook pm me.
Congratulations on your weightloss by the way - I'm so impressed. Your bloodwork is fantastic! There are many things in life that will catch your eye, only a few will catch your heart. Pursue those.0 -
Hi guys, thanks for the kind thoughts.
Still alive lol, but not very sociable at the moment so probably wont be posting much.
Maz, glad to hear the good news about your niece. I can only imagine how relieved she must feel right now.
Lost a few pounds this week so that's a positive.
Chika, looked up Lyle Mcdonald after seeing your post. Sound interesting, I wouldn't mind a copy of the book if you wouldn't mind? Will pm you if that's ok.
See you all later. *waves*Herman - MP for all!0 -

Spirits are ok, with a diet mixer, but your body will use the alcohol for fuel instead of the fat so you wont lose on those days.Eric_Pisch wrote: »it would be very interesting to read the book however it does seam aimed at body builders who want to get down to unhealthy levels of fat for competition.
