Cashews are one of the higher nuts. Macademia, brazil, walnuts and almonds are better.
This link might help you. There is discussion about carb and net carbs but someone else might be able to give you more info. This will give you a guide.

many thanks for that
I am not looking to remove carbs totally, i will still carb load before training but I eat almost zero amounts of these healthy fats and oils apart from omega as i eat a lot of tuna and salmon
So maybe cooking with rapeseed oil which seams to be the healthiest and add a mixed selection of almonds/cashews and walnuts into my diet should give me a good boost.0 -
*waves* Is it ok for me to join as I do my own version of LC....usually have my carbs over by about 1, then fill up on fruit and salad and veg for the rest of the day. I can't do anything without my morning carbs (cereal or a banana - rice cakes a bit later on) and it does work for me....the scales at home finally match up to the GP's scales.** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **

I do it all because I'm scared.

There's a lot of mercury in the larger fish which is detrimental to health.

I've just been for a long(ish) walk. Yay me!
Then what did I do? I came in and ate the last easter egg sat on top of the fridge.
I am a total failure. *&*&^%^^%!!* ( < How come my expletives never look as convincing as other people's? :rotfl:)
What am I going to do? I need fixed. I clearly have some sort of deep routed 'pig gene'. I'm beginning to seriously think I need help of some sort. Counselling, or hypnotherapy or some such thing.Herman - MP for all!0 -

Honestly i don't care, there's not a drop of water or spec of soil on the planet that's not contaminated with pollutants from man even organic food absorbs all these pollutants, just about everyone is Europe has been contaminated or eaten contaminated food / water from Chernobyl.
The levels they are measuring are almost beyond none existent as well, 1 part per 2 million... I used to play with mercury all the time as a kid, i had a pot with about 250cc of it, I drank a tea spoon of it for a bet which would be like eating a billion fish on this scale, I don't recommend it as it creates near instant explosive diarrhoea...
I was working outside for the 6 months after the rector went critical so got a good long dose of radioactive material as well.
!!!!!! all you can do about it apart from drive your self mad worrying about it, or the 2000 lbs of BSE infected meat I ate or the 500 birds with bird flu that landed on my house, or the 3 hours a day i spend in traffic sucking in benzine fumes.0 -
