Right you lot! Where are you?! I'm here (by myself it looks like! :p)

5lbs on in total over the last 2 weeks of eating. 5lbs! It's just appeared since Friday (but TOTM is due today so water retention could be a factor in that also.)

OH is p*ssing me off somewhat. He's on a diet, going to the gym, arranging to go hill walking (no invite for me I might add!) and the weight is coming off him. I'm STILL plasterboarding (I do a wee bit and get bored and don't do anymore for days which is why it's still ongoing :o) so I'm fed up being stuck in whilst he gets to play.

So.......I'm going to make a huge effort today to NOT sit on the pc all day :o, I'm going to get the last boards put up and get on with things so I can go out and play myself. Sod him! :D

Eldest is going to his Dad's for 2 days today so I'm very happy about that. (I love him but he's a 24/7 shadow on my shoulder and it's going to be very nice not having to answer constant questions or listen to inane chat about the XBox!) Yay! I'm happy already! :rotfl:

I'm already looking forward to my omelette. Bring it on. :D

    Happy Monday everyone.

    Bonjour tout le monde.

I've had a week off work staying with people, and am happy to report I've put on less than a pound, which is very gratifying, particularly as my aunt and uncle had a bowl of mini eggs on the table in the living-room which kept throwing themselves in my mouth. Oh, and my aunt had kind of misunderstood low carb and had made lots of fruity puddings. Argh.

Anyway, my news is that I am probably going to go and do the Alizonne weight-loss therapy. I've been talking it through with the DH and have stated my fed-upness that I'm losing too slowly, and that I'm panicking about getting pregannt before I'm 40. So I'm going to go and see the clinic this week and then hopefully sign up. It's stupidly expensive but right now I just don't care, my clock is ticking. Hopefully 10 weeks and I'll be at goal weight. Sounds far too good to be true, but they actually pinpoint the week you'll hit goal, as long as you follow their regime. And it's based on low carb, which is v interesting. I do feel kind of ashamed though as I'm such an advocate of proper food normally and this is all sachets and medical stuff, but they do give you a maintenance program that lasts a year to help you as you reintroduce proper food. Anyway, I'll report back on how it goes; might be of use to someone...

Jo, I'll always be a low carb advocate and I imagine if/when I'm at goal I'll use it to keep my weight down.

*waves back* wish you lived round the corner, i'd come out to play with you :D

Had my glucose tolerance test, results next week.

Have put on about 4lbs which is good as i've been eating crap constantly :o

Prob stress has kept it off, also roof of mouth full of ulcers, completely missed totm this month and also, felt very 'chesty' and breathless in work, and realised i hadnt taken my meds, was told off by the pharmacist as they are for heart arrythmias ( didnt know this as i hadn't been informed, i though they were for my bp.)

Hoping things will improve this week and i can concentrate on losing some weight.

You plum! You'll need to get a mantra to help remind you! Maybe we could have a comp for the best 'maz's memory jog phrase'. :D

How about 'I rattle for a reason' (and then when you realise you're not rattling you'll know you've forgotten your tabs again. ) :rotfl:

Or.....' junkies do it all the time, I best join in, I'll go get mine'. :rotfl:

    (They're really bad aren't they.....:rotfl:)

Well I'm not having a good time. Got sheet of board cut exactly the right size, I had it in situ and was about to screw it down when the postie came to the door. I thought it would be ok left balanced, but nope, it fell over onto the ladders and snapped. :( Had to go get more. Now can't be bothered again. :D

Oh....and I've just realised something (completely unrelated to plasterboard)......I have 'fat person's hair'. :o I recently got it cut into a short angled bob (higher at the back and lower at the front) and since then, I've seen millions of peeps with the same cut.....and they've all been fat. I'm gonna go dye it pillar box red of something just so's I'm not a Stepford fatty anymore. :rotfl:

hi all - well im back with a vengence
ive sadly gone up into the next stone and not happy with that AT ALL !!!!
also going back to work next week after 3 months leave of absence and my uniform is stupidly and horribly tight !!

i will be cheating and taking slimmers delight for the first week to help me shed max amount and i shall also be trying to eat as little as possible to kick start - yes its wrong its not good for you and all that but drastic times need drastic measures
you lot are so lucky with the amounts you put on when cheating - i gain double that and acquire a 6 month preggers belly - complete with sticking out belly button this time !! but that may be down to the tummy tuck ?

anyway im back - lets do this !!

have made a huge pot of LC soup boiled some eggs and cooked some chicken thighs to graze on - im in the zone please god help me stay there xxxx

also to help things along im going to ''top up my teeth'' - about 2 years ago i had my teeth whitened at the dentist with trays and syringes of bleach
well i normally do a short top up every 6-8 months - im well over due for it and as you keep the trays in for 2 hours you cant eat or drink whilst they are in - perfect !!!!!

+ 4 1/2 lbs in a week  bet it takes me longer to get rid of it. Do you think my body will think its induction time again and I'll have a massive weight loss?

oops sorry forgot to say hello.
