    Hi peeps,

i`m still here mostly lurking though :o i`ve lost a total of 5lb since last Sunday :j not as much as last time i started on atkins but then again i`ve not been ultra strict as i know that i`m supposed to be for the first two weeks.

I`ve been eating leeks and have allowed myself two small squares of dark choc per day. I don`t feel like i`m being deprived of anything especially over easter - my choccy bunny is still intact:j as its made of milk choccy so it will be a while before he starts to disappear.

Mazzers - hope that your have some good news coming your way and good luck with the scan on Thursday.

I`m off for tea, chicken and buttered leeks for me tonight and then i can have the 2nd square of choccy for dessert :D

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

Well done Sunny and Sweet, 5lbs is a big step in the right direction.

(:rotfl: You sound like a double act.)

Ok, guess what happened to me today?! Go on guess! :D After we came out of the hairdressers, we went to Tesco to pick up some salad stuff. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted with clapping and a lady with a clipboard. Apparently I was their millionth customer and I was given some Viennese chocolate covered shortbread, some strawberries and cream shortbread, some caramalised onion bread and some cheese scones.

I fought hard but they made me take them. :rotfl:

Daughter's hair was a huge success btw, my baby is all grown up now and looks like a jazzy young girl. :( If anything, it's still too long despite losing 5 inches. It's still past her shoulders, will get more cut off next time I think so it's maybe just on her shoulders. Hairdresser was wary as she'd already cut off so much and I think she was worried daughter would freak. :D

Happy icing peeps. I'm not even pretending at the minute. :D

OOHH! lovely :D you`ll just have to find a good place to hide them now :D back of the freezer sounds good for the bread & scones. Good luck with the shortbread.

Glad your daughter likes her new hair do, hairdresser reminds me of when mine was shoulder length and dyed black a few years ago, i couldn`t be @rsed with looking after it and walked into a hairdresser and asked if they could fit me in, i asked them to cut it all off, and i mean all of it :D hairdresser was nervous as hell despite my reassurances. I came out later with it 5mm long all over, no fringe or anything and i loved it :D hairdresser was a wreck throughout though and looked at me as if i was mad :rotfl:

    .

Always nice to get something for free for just walking in the door but Tesco are such tight a*ses!! with all the billions profit they make. Where's the champers/hampers for a millionth customer ???- s'ok I'm allowed to call them that - have had 3 family members employed by them over the years.
    Over futile odds
And laughed at by the gods
    And now the final frame
    Love is a losing game

Guys....I was telling fibs.....I was jokingly trying to justify/excuse me being a pig and buying crap. :rotfl:

Sorry, I thought my sense of humour was kinda known around these parts. :D
