yoooohooo anybody there???
had a nice time at SILs yesterday managed to have salad, salmon, quiche coleslaw ( then added bread and butter and a slice of birthday cake)
was lovely though
the kids have sooo much chocolate , there are eggs all over I could trough the whole lot, but bless them they bought me a no added sugar chocolate egg from holland and barrett - how sweet is that? bet it was a ridiculous price - anyway I will just have a little bit each day as otherwise it may kick up a storm in my belly
hope you are all ok xx0 -
Morning everyone :hello:
We were on page 2 again!!
mazz, fingers crossed for good news, take care xx :kisses3:
alias, sounds like you had a good meal out, hopefully happy families
sistercas, loved those exercising smilies!! :rotfl:
Got weighed this morning & I've lost another 3lbsAlso lost 1 & a half inches off my waist
Have been walking a lot, did 6 miles on Saturday :A but usually it's at least half an hour walking briskly every day.
Hoping to go to Scarborough today but the weather is a bit dodgy, plus DD2 has a cold so she might not feel up to it. We usually park in the North Bay & walk to the South Bay but if it's cold, wet & windy (as it is here) it won't be much fun.
See you all later :wave:0 -
Lol, there was a reason I only mentioned the food. :rotfl:Happy families is clearly a game we can't play right now.
Good going on the 3lbs sweet, this low GI lark must be agreeing with you. :T
Sistercas, I'm impressed with your gym efforts, you're a better person than I.
I'm going to start again today, good news is that even after all my days of eating, I've only put 1lb on, so not too much damage done. Was very surprised about that tbh.

sweet well done on your 3lbs - thats fantastic :T
Alias you have done really well to have only put a lb on - well done ( I can put 7lbs on easy in a day if I put my mind to it)

Just thought i'd say, i dont think it's so much the diet, as the burning of energy with the walking, as sweet has discovered. (well done, how much have you lost? )
Any sensible way of eating will help weight loss, but i lost quite a bit when i was eating sensibly and brisk walking four times a week (doing an hours circuit each time, and even when pouring with rain)
I am constantly eating atm, usually would only have one choc bar a day (in an ideal world) but have been having 3 or 4
I think it's a comfort thing that hopefully will pass before i become used to it!
Still no news because of the bank hol0 -

I agree, that's why I'm pushing myself to walk every day, it does make a difference.
I've lost 5lbs over the last 2 weeksThe low-gi WOE does say you can lose 1-2lbs a week, depending on how much you have to lose
but it does say you should aim to walk for an hour every day if possible.
Have been to Scarborough & it was a good day out. Didn't like being terrorised by Canadian Geese in Peasholm Park though!! :rotfl: Had to have 2 glasses of wine in the pub to calm my nerves!!0 -
Well since no-one else is going to post, I thought I'd better say 'good morning' just so we're not relegated to page 6!
Having serious food problems again, run up to TOTM again (doesn't seem that long since the last one!) so I can feel myself just beginning to get edgy and irritable and hungry!
Yesterday was an Atkins morning and an 'eat all you can' afternoon.
I'm finding it very strange that my scales are not moving though. I've weighed everyone just to make sure they're not broken. :rotfl:
I sat on my backside and watched old films yesterday. 3 Men and a Little Lady was good.So it's not like I'm being active. Oh well, I'm not complaining.
Daughter is getting her 'past waist length' hair cut off today. She saw a Kelly Clarkson style she liked and since her hair isn't in good condition now, she'd need at least 4 inches cut off it anyway so she's going the whole hog. *watch this space for regretful tears later*.Herman - MP for all!0 -
I've had an eat everything you see week or so
Must get back to doing something about it soon.
I've been watching films too alias, and just generally lying in bed watching come dine wiith me.
Hopefully some news tomorrow and a CT scan thurs.0 -
