Morning Everyone
Just to let you know I haven't dropped off the planet or something even worse.I'm still LC'ing but frankly at the moment getting nowhere.I spend all week trying to lose the weight I put on with my Saturday treat day.I am seriously considering giving it the heave ho until I reach my target.Just so I can get to the maintenance bit and stop worrying about putting weight on
Mrs Bartolozzi-£3.82!!!!!!Jeez I'd die spending that much on five bars. Then again I am northern and as tight as a ducks doo dah so maybe its just that and these really are a bargain
Mazzer a mouse is vermin and as cute as they seem they are a health hazard as they wee constantly so anything they have been on you can guarantee they have wee'd on and its full of germs so please dont eat anything they have touched or you could end up very poorly

Good to have you back, lesley!!
Morning everyone :hello:
Just been on the wii bodytest & I have lost a bit in the last 3 days but not quite enough to call a lb!! Quite pleased with that actually as I have been feeling 'heavy' even though sticking to low-carb.
B - 3 chipolata sausages & fried egg
L - 2 crispbreads with butter & cheese, garlic sausage
D - to be decided
Tis the school holidays here so going shopping with kids later :j (that's a sarcastic jumping with joy smiley btw ) Have to get things sorted for our trip up North. Really looking forward to it actually & got some of my Tesco 'days out' vouchers through the post so will be getting in 'free' to some places.
Have a good day all :wave:0 -

Isklar - my food budget for 2 adults per month is £120. I'm sure the old-stylers can beat that but I think it's pretty good. And I don't really batch cook because I don't like sauce-based meals that much. I am vegetarian though and my boyfriend doesn't low-carb.
To give you an idea of the sorts of food we buy (all supermarket brand with the odd premium brand and the odd value item):
Breakfast is homemade yogurt for me and cereal/milk for boyf.
Lunch is bagged salad leaves/cucumber/tomato with things like cheese or cottage cheese or coleslaw etc for me. Boyfriend buys his out.
Dinners would be along the lines of quorn burgers/saus/bakes with boiled veg, or a homemade quorn cottage pie, or quorn pieces and veg in mexican spices with sour cream, or homemade soup. At the moment I am trying to perfect cauliflower cheese so we're having that several times a week
If you follow Atkins, it is pretty strict and does revolve around meat and greens a lot. But plans like Dr Dahlqvist allow a bit more flexibility so you can include cheaper foods like yogurt or carrots.0 -
Started icing (the Atkins way) 5th January 2009
Only  *mumble mumble* to lose

Morning everyone :hello:
Tis quiet on here lately
Decided to have the M&S chicken with coriander, lime & ginger for dinner last night, yum, had it with mashed cauli & garlic mushrooms.
Also had 3 glasses of wine (leftover from the weekend) & 2 more crackers with cheese as was feeling peckish.
Haven't had anything yet, apart from coffee, so my menu for today will be:
B - 3 chipolata sausages, fried egg & maybe a couple of pieces of bacon as there's some open in the fridge
L - 2 crackers with butter & cheese, garlic sausage
D - HM fishpie with cauli mash topping
Hope everyone has a good day :wave:0 -

Well yesterday was Hubbys birthday and as per ritual in this house cake was made and decorated by me and consumed with the usual singing.I was a good girl and only had a very small piece though. But you cant not eat some birthday cake it would be rude
other than that my eating consisted of the following
Lunch- Mackerel,Cheese and mayo
Dinner-Roast Chicken and mixed veg, natural yoghurt and Blackberry Couli for pud

Guilty as charged
Cant get my act together at the mo, one good day, one bad
I spend most of my time in work and at home sighing, even my youngest keeps asking whats the matter.
Just a bit of general fed-up-ness

I will get my act together though0 -
Zoomed up the M1 at silly o'clock this morning and arrived at the Metro Centre just in time for doors opening. Collected my lovely red jacket and now back home. Trip down south was pretty much a nightmare as I encountered about 4 accidents and drove through 4 sets of 50mph limits with average cameras. Eventually got stuck on M1 30 miles from destination for about 3 hours. Mind you that's the first time in years and years and years I've been caught up in stopped traffic so can't complain too loudly. I just sat and read an Ian Banks novel, munched on pepperami's at lunchtime and drank some water - pretty good 'me time' I reckon.
So far since I've been home I've had my coconut oil and then bacon and eggs. Lunch will be the everlasting chicken and salad and evening meal may well be 2 glasses of wine.
Motivation = high
Fridge = full

Anybody watch that programme on Channel 4 last night about breakfasts? Was very scathing about breakfast cereal and how bad they are for you, v high sugar and salt. Really went for the big companies (Kellogs and Nestle) for pushing them as 'healthy' esp to kids.
They made a homemade choccie cake that was lower in sugar and salt than most breakfast cereals, and said you'd be better off having that than a bowl of rice crispies:rotfl:
Just reminded me how brainwashed most people are over what is 'healthy'...if I ever tell people I usually have a fried egg for brekkie they think I'm mad!0
