Hi peeps, just back from a half hour walk, tis lovely & warm & sunny here so making the most of it as it's forecast rain tomorrow

marrow, another one sloping off, forgot you were going away as well!! :( Tis gonna be soooo quiet on this thread!!

And it hasn't gone unnoticed that Mercy seems to have done a runner as well!!
Hope all is well with you, Mercy?? :( Come back soon :kisses3:

    Hi hunni!
And big hello to all new peeps and the regulars!

I aint gone, just had a wierdly busy weekend. Not all that lc but not as bad as it could have been :):):)

    OK in my defence
    1) bloke turned out to be a cat hater of such extreme proportions as to make nasty comments 3 times in 1 eve about their demise. Eg said about sista's cat dying on the road, his reply 'good shot that man, well done!' laughing all the way. He knows my sista too. Upshot - nicely single again. I mean THREE TIMES?!!!

    2) Mate from Wolves was up Friday so much drinking had to be done - it's a tradition. :D

    3) Met with Bro Satdy after v wasted on Friday so had things with breadcrumbs and chips. Meal sorted us both out and stopped us feeling like death anymore. That's the thing about carbs, one blowout begets another. :o

Have just eaten first meal of today.
Roasted aubergine, mushrooms and tomato with pork marinaded in chilli sauce.

Also sampled the Almond slice recipe #3, still not perfect but getting there :D

And made massive omlet for 2 days lunches at work. and boiled eggs for all weeks breakfasts. Am back on track as I always an for the working week. This time I'm so well organised too! Imagine my glee!

Well done to all the ones seeing losses!

    Good luck to everyone else!

    Big love

Remember - If you snooze in the sun arrange for mates to turn you periodically :rotfl:

Hope you having a fantastic time, you lucky so & so!! Enjoy your voddies & paella & sangria & anything else typically Spanish (Senors?!) & make sure you come back with a tan, just don't fall asleep whilst sunbathing!! :D

It was Spain you were going to, wasn't it?! :o
  • Mercy, good to see you back but sorry about the romance :( Hopefully it was good while it lasted, apart from the cat discussions of course. What on earth possessed him to say that?! Doesn't he know you have cats?! Plonker!!

Btw, lol at you making mazzers sound like a sausage on the grill to be turned so as not to burn!! :rotfl:
  • Actually only signed in to say to marrow 'have a good time' cos I forgot to say it earlier!!

And nearly forgot to say it again what with all the excitement of seeing mazzers' & Mercy's posts!! :o

Wonder if marrow will find that internet cafe to keep an eye on us!! We'd all better be good - we are being watched!! :rotfl:

Yes of course he knew I have cats. Just being deliberately offensive I reckon. Said it was a joke  Yeah right.

    Never mind, free again! :rotfl:

I just didn't want Mazz back crispy - not a good look :rotfl:

well, ive been out and bought a few bits and pieces ready for this week!! have got some sausages defrosting for tea tomorrow - im thinking of a sausage and cheese omlette as at the time of taking the sausages out of the freezer I didnt think ahead of what I was going to have with them!!

for lunch at work I have some ham, lettuce, cucumber and full fat cream cheese.

I dont know about breakfast yet (I usually skip it and have a bag of crisps about 10:30  ) - any ideas for an atkins breakfast?!?!!? p.s I dont like mushrooms!!!
  • Hi

Im another newbie to this - hope its okay to join?

Ive done this for a couple of weeks before, and could really feel the difference, but my downfall was always the breakfasts. Can anyone suggest something that can be taken to work where i dont have any way of cooking? (by the way - I dont eat red meat)

Im gonna try some of the recipes this time - really looking forward to it! getting all prepared tomorrow for a start on Tues when i go back to work!

    thanks!

My breakfast is usually a couple of boiled eggs mixed up with butter and some cheddar. Or some brazil nuts and babybel.
