Hi peeps, cant believe how fat and pimply i have become :rotfl:
Not funny really, but if i dont laugh i'll cry, who knows, maybe i'll be good on holiday
Not much to say for a change ( who shouted good then?)
so i shall be off to watch tv.0 -
I am going to eat bread, mashed potato, chips, crisps and anything else I really like that has carbs!! I was going to have chippy but I can have donnor or chicken meat next week (and have a salad instead of chips), then I thought of pizza but I am going to make a low carb pizza with a cauliflower base next week!!Hmm, maybe a chip butty or pie and mash (both with curry sauce!) - I need to use up the potatoes in the cupboard!!
Crikey, newcook, are you sure you can't think of any more carbs!! You are gonna have major carb-crash next week!! :rotfl:
Btw, I'm glad I've already eaten, otherwise that list would be making me hungry!!Hi peeps, cant believe how fat and pimply i have become :rotfl:
Well, I was already fat but I'll join you in the pimply bitI have developed a huge red plook on my neck!! I never get plooks on my neck!!
I'm dying to squeeze it but there's no 'head' on it atm!! Maybe tomorrow!! :rotfl:QUOTE]
Just to say my fish pie was deeeeeeeelicious!! Had a rather large portion so I'm nicely stuffed now!! Should be safe from the lure of snacks tonight anyway!!
Btw, my portion was the medium size pyrex casserole dish if anyone knows how big that is!!
I'm off to watch Corrie now so will see you all tomorrow :wave:0 -

I've got terrible spots too. I'm hoping once my period finally finishes (it really has been ages this time, bladdy hormones) they will go. I'm fed up looking like a pizza. I'm also really sleepy. Had a four hour "nap" this afternoon. P'raps I'm going to be Mazzers replacement while on her hols.

:rotfl: Glad i've got my stand in Marrow :rotfl:
I think my spots come from using fake tan on my face, i've two on my temple and one on my cheek, quite sore they are too
Didnt wake at 5 this morning i'm glad to say.
Bit overcast today but i wont be seeing it anyway as i'm in work.
Have a good weekend folks.0 -
Morning all :hello:
Tis lovely & sunny here
I had a sleep in this morning so haven't had my brekkie yet, don't feel hungry, yet  I'm going to be making pigs in blankets for brunch, finally remembered to get the streaky bacon!! Wondering whether to sneak a slice of chorizo in between the sausage & bacon to see what that's like?? I like experimenting!!
B/L - pigs in blankets with poached egg* on the side (hopefully)
D - chilli (without kidney beans or chickpeas) maybe with cheesy leeks on the side or lettuce & coleslaw if the lettuce hasn't gone off!!
Snacks will be babybels/cheese cubes & [STRIKE]probably[/STRIKE] maybe an apple. Also got some salted peanuts for emergencies.
* Does anyone make poached eggs?? I used to have them quite often & just used a poached egg pan with individual sections for the eggs iykwim?? Bit of a faff to wash though, so I'm thinking of trying a 'freestyle' poached egg where you just carefully put the raw egg directly, & presumably very carefully, into a pan of boiling water. Should be interesting ...
Have a good day peeps :wave:0 -
Morning!
Been up, showered, dressed and knocking at the door of the supermarket at 8.00a.m., loaded up and now home with bacon and eggs all in my tummy. Day is a good 'un. I like to watch the Time Team re-runs on Saturday mornings whilst doing the chores.
The mashed cauliflower was really tasty yesterday - I fried it up with bacon bits and chucked it over a salad, was very yummy so will do that again tonight and have got another cauli for later in the week.
Still taking my coconut oil and flaxseed oil (both fairly yeugh but I can disguise them in other food) and have found that when I don't my skin really starts to suffer so need to work out a way of taking them with me. Got some coconut in a little tiny lock 'n' lock which worked well this time for my hotel room.
Geordie land is going to be very busy this weekend with all sorts of sporty type things happening - place is full of people in shorts and singlets running around the streets everywhere and there's so much on. Think I can now stay indoors and watch the action take place from my living room window, and then take a rest from standing up so long!!

OH loves them so I usually freestyle it, or the best thing I bought recently was a silicon egg ring. I usually do my eggs on the flat griddle so using this avoids any spillage, and would work just as well for poachers. Doesn't stick either which is awesome, as I had terrible troubles with metal ones.Little lady arrived 13/12/110 -
Morning you lot
Is today the day Mazzers goes on Holiday? lucky mare I wont even get to Blackpool let alone foreign shores *sob*
well as its saturday its my end of week weigh in and as it is my TOTM and I spent most of yesterday on the loo I was hopeful of my weight at least returning to normal but I've lost an extra pound on the week so I'm zippadee doodah over the moon. But it is Saturday and I do treat myself on Saturday so should I be a good girl or should I sod it and have whatever I want.I'm only 5lbs from target so should really be good but with it being TOTM I could get up tomorrow and put a pound on so being good might not really be worth it.Oh decisions decisions.Sod it pass me the choccy:rotfl:
Could someone please tell me who has abducted Sweet and substituted her with a good low carber please?:DSweet its not like you to be such a good girl whats going on?:D

She currently has a chest infection so not great (she is prone to them and was in hospital twice last year with pneumonia).
Abdominal surgery didnt really work to solve the problem, she has her follow up on wednesday, not much else they can do unfortunately. Then the following week she is in for spinal surgery.sweetserendipity wrote: ».

Before you put the egg in the water swirl it round with a spoon so you create a little whirlpool thing so when you put the egg in it is all pulled into the centre and doesnt spread too much. Hope that makes sense. Some people add a little vinegar to the water too.The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Gers, enjoy watching the Great North Run tomorrow, my hubby has ran it 5 times in the past & said it's always a fantastic atmosphere. He's actually going to be doing the Edinburgh Marathon next year for the first time!!
yummy, wouldn't the egg ring float around in the water??
Lesley, lol at the abduction theory!! :rotfl:Ooh, you are cheeky!!It's definitely still me, although an unrecognisable me I admit!!
When I'm good, I'm very good, but when I'm bad, I'm terrible ...!!
g&b, sorry to hear about your daughter, poor little miteHope she gets over the chest infection soon & good luck with the spinal surgery. What a worry for you & your family. :kisses3:
