Well day 33 was a definite failure but I shall post my menu just to shame myself in public.lol
B Yog, seeds & blues
L 4" of white baguette, mixed salad, salami, ham and chocolate eclair !!
D Chicken almondine, spinach
S Blues and cream
My weekly weigh in will be tomorrow so I'll have to wait to see what the damage is. I will also need to start watching portion sizes asI have been having as much meat, cheese, eggs etc as I want and think maybe this is why I have only lost 3lb in 5 weeks.
Still I am having my tablespoon of coconut oil in water 20 mins before each meal so here's hoping for the best.
Have a good one everybody0 -
Oh Serena that is nothing. You sound like you've been really strict since you started, I think you are allowed a few mouthfuls
Just start again today.
My Tuesday report:
B - homemade yogurt
L - cheese and coleslaw with salad
D - lots of strawberries with lots of cream
no exercise and not enough fluids0 -
littlemiss is right serena, when i cheated i ate so much chocolate and other junk. whatever i could find in the house really. As long as you get right back on track thats what matters the most. My cheats dont last one day normally but months
and thats when the trouble starts.

Just a quickie!!
Can't remember who said about tuna in olive oil?? Anyway, noticed in a Netto leaflet (when I was doing my housewifely duties tidying up) that John West tuna steak in olive oil or springwater (200g) is only 69p this week!! Going to see if I can stock up tomorrow.0 -
Thanks for the encouraging comments - it's really weird not being hungry :j
Saw some info on Candida infections which suggest elimination of carbs and sugars from one's diet. A load of the many symptoms can be cleared by low carbs and no sugar. Did the saliva/spit test this morning  but not too bad. Thinking about making my family do it too!
Breaskfast was 2 rashers of crisply fried bacon (no time for eggs!)
Lunch was a bowl of home made pea and mint soup with a swirl of sour cream
Tea was some M&S cooked chicken stuffed with spinach and pancetta then followed by raspberries and lovely thick cream.
Plenty of water drunk so far, and my daily 2 spoonfuls of coconut oil.
Getting ready for Judge Judy and then Torchwood!0 -

I thought I had these multi quote things sorted....grrr...the bit about the Peebles Hydro has disappeared! Anyway, the Hydro is lovely. I've not been, but my work has a dance every January. A sort of post Christmas thing. Its v posh and I think v expensive?sweetserendipity wrote: »Why oh why didn't I keep up with the flylady housework?! House is a tip & I still haven't decorated the front room after it was plastered months ago!!
As an experienced flylady, I can share my wisdom with you. Set yourself a challenge for 30 mins. See how much you can do in that time. It really is quite amazing. OK, so you wont get the decorating done, but you'll be able to get loads sorted

Just got this from mate.
The Facecloth.
There is not a woman alive today who won't crack up over this!
I was due for a cancer smear with the doctor later in the week. Early one
morning, I received a call from the doctor's office to tell me that I had
been rescheduled for that morning at 9:30 am . I had only just packed
everyone off to work and school, and it was already around 8:45 am. The
trip to his office took about 35 minutes, so I didn't have any time to
spare.
As most women do, I like to take a little extra effort over hygiene when
making such visits, but this time I wasn't going to be able to make the
full effort. So, I rushed upstairs, threw off my pyjamas, wet the facecloth
that was sitting next to the sink, and gave myself a quick wash in that
area to make sure I was at least presentable. I threw the facecloth in the
clothes basket, donned some clothes, hopped in the car and raced to my
appointment.
I was in the waiting room for only a few minutes when I was called in.
Knowing the procedure, as I'm sure you do, I hopped up on the table, looked
over at the other side of the room and pretended that I was in Paris or
some other place a million miles away. I was a little surprised when the
doctor said, 'My, we have made an extra effort this morning, haven't we?'
I didn't respond.
After the appointment, I heaved a sigh of relief and went home. The rest
of the day was normal - some shopping, cleaning, & cooking.
After school when my 7 year old daughter was playing, she called out from
the bathroom, 'Mummy, where's my facecloth?'
I told her to get another one from the cupboard.
She replied, 'No, I need the one that was here by the sink, it had all my
glitter saved inside it.'
NEVER going back to that doctor ever!!

This morning I found my navel without sending in search and rescue dogs! Rolls are flattening and my midline fat is half the size.
After yearrs and years of struggling with low fat low everthing and tasteless food this is total revelation and an immense joy. Not missing the bread and pasta and stuff (yet) and enjoying the feeling of being full and not wanting carbs!
:j
That's exactly how I feel. Well put Gers! :T0 -
Ooh, its a lovely day, my son goes home today, and i am stating icing with renewed vigour, as its best i dont mention yesterday.
It hasn't been too bad here, a few arguments (which is normal) but the weather let us down a bit.
I cooked a side of salmon with tarragon butter that i have had since xmas ( frozen, from tesco) and it was delicious, myself and the oldest could've eaten the lot between us, and we had second helpings. Well recommended.
I am enjoying my week off and wish i never had to go back
Oh and another 2 nasty plooks have erupted after yesterdays shenannigans.
Why is that happening?? Toxins??0
