    :hello:Hello everyone else!

    Back to icing chat...
MiniHM -weird you've been tired, today I've been super perky. I've been cleaning/sorting out stuff all day since 6am, and just stopped now. I must have sapped your energy. (*backs away so you can't have it back*)
Hope your gallB feels more comfortable soon. That's probably why you are so tired, it reduces your absorption of nutrients from your food.

Haven't eaten very well today though, too distracted, ate veggies in a wholemeal wrap and my tum is feeling it now. I feel like I'm hovering above the sofa. TMI? Maybe that is what the pant acid is for sweet. ;)
That'll teach me to eat carbs.

    P.S what's a jakey? Is it like a !!!!!? We'll all be speaking in a Scottish accent soon. ;)

:rotfl::rotfl:first of all, not quite sure what you typed and the censor changed to !!!!! ??

A jakey is hmmmm " ......a person who likes to drink cheap red wine from a brown paper bag" !!!!! Beetroot juice looks like a bottle of red wine !!!!!

I didnt realise I wouldnt be absorbing any nutrients, though TBH what I ate yesterday didnt have too many nutrients

I've only had tuna and salad at lunchtime today and a wee bit of stir fry veg (dry fried) tonight.

pant acid.....lol.... I'll have to read back, missed that bit

Daisy, sorry I've no info for you, except that when I was a lot younger (in my 20's) I suddenly developed a rash when I went out in the susnshine, and then one year it cleared up as suddenly as it appeared

Hmm Mazzers, is fitday an american site?

I know they calculate their carbs differently that the UK. Cos 16g of carbs form some cream, veg and cheese sounds wrong to me?

Avstar you are right, what a load of crap.

I know they calculate it by deducting the fibre so its net carbs we should count but what fibre is in cream?? even that is wrong, i did check on google but duh.. they were american sites too
I just checked on my tub of cream and my pkt of spinach.

Well, i dont know what to believe now
My cream is 1.6 for 100ml and theirs is 4.4 for 3.4 fl oz (100ml)

The cals have got to be right tho.

I will have to spend time creating 'custom foods' as its so easy to keep an eye on your consumption, and i love using the site.

Aye...we'll have you all converted soon ;)

aliasjo - are you in Scotland as well? A few of my friends are going to the Oasis concert as well :D

Have discovered something sweet that I can have. Ricotta cheese blended with flavoured protein powder.

I feel a bit strange lcing. It seems easy? Its bizarre...anyway, long may it continue.

Oh and sweet - we are a lovely bunch on the flylady thread. G&B and I are regulars :D
  • daisy, I saw a programme a while back & some 'guinea pigs' (not the small furry types that squeak) were testing out how tomatoes can stop skin burning in the sun as quickly?? It was the lycopene(?) in the tomatoes & the 'guinea pigs' were having tomato puree on crackers every day (can't remember how much or for how long??) but they showed a significant improvement.

I know your daughter's problem isn't with sunburn but it may help with her reaction to the sun ie. the prickly heat??

I have seen you both, not that I'm stalking you of course!! :rotfl:

I would actually prefer to have the full week of 'chores' in one go so I've printed off last week's full list & am working from that this week iyswim?! I like to be [STRIKE]awkward[/STRIKE] different!! :D

    Well, i was disappointed :rotfl:

Mind you, you can edit the foods specified i 'spose, and at least i've been having less carbs than i thought ;)

I am suspicious about the nutrition though, i did mention that we may have differing RDA's

The RMR was about right though..

I'm super tired too! Is it because i've not long started this, because its really off putting. Fell asleep on the sofa at about half eight last night and could barely drag myself out of bed this morning at 7. Really hope it passes or i might not be able to continue this WOE.

Hope the weather clears up for those going to the Oasis concert tonight, i'm in Edinburgh and it is miserable at the moment.
