Marrowgirl, I am so sorry for your loss. It must be so upsetting, I know whenever I lose a dog it's as though I've lost a really good friend.

Well day 1 seemed to go okay although I will have to watch myself with the cheese as because I could have it rather meant that I did. Cheese has always been a downfall for me but it was such JOY to have some emmental after 5 years of yukky fat reduced stuff!:T
Todays menu
B 1 tofu sausage, 1 rasher bacon, 1egg - fried in coconut&olive oil mix
L Mashed cauliflower, greens, broccoli & french beans with tvp bolognaise as a sauce (still using up from freezer)
D Same as L but followed by strawberries and cream.
I am drinking plenty of water and the coconut oil seems to have helped the evacuation process, so no worries there. How much of oil should I take in a day? also I hear people have peanuts is that okay cos I looked at peanut butter in Lidl and it was quite high in carbs. I am going by 5g carb per 100g - am I right in this?
Once again thanks in advance . Hope you have a sunny day, down here onthe south coast it has gone all black and looks like it may try to rain:mad:0 -
Ditto what everyone else has said Marrow, I'm really sorry to hear about your poor cat. I'm terribly emotional when it comes to animals so I feel for you and can imagine how bad you must be feeling right now. Keep strong. xHerman - MP for all!0

Hello, settled back down for a sleep after my last post and have just woke feeling bright and lively ( i can sleep for Wales, if anyone hears of any sleeping comps, gimme a shout... dont wake me tho)
I am planning on clearing and sorting my freezer, which is so jam packed it wont take a single ice cube in there. will be doing a bit of ironing, and finishing the kitchen painting i started last week. Oh and some cooking
Focus, i wouldnt go by 'official' days for weighing :rotfl: by the time Sunday comes you might've gained some water weight, you are now officially 2lbs lighter, how much is that altogether?
I get the startings of a sore throat if i get too little sleep, so, as you said, plenty of water and a good sleep tonight.0 -
First day of my super strict low carb diet and i feel really good, very positive about it:D
Had a couple of nuts and some water before i left the house to take my little girl to school then went to morrisons armed with my list and managed not to deviate.
Brunch is cooking just now, 2 Black Farmer sausages - never tried them before and they look yum and only 1g carb per 100g. Will have a rasher of bacon and some scrambled eggs to go with them.
Not sure if i'm working tonight or not, either way dinner will be a chicken salad. Will have some nuts or some cheese mid afternoon if i'm hungry. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

Hi, me again. Can someone tell me if the EPA ingredient in the Ketosis Cocktail is evening primrose oil or something else. I have coconut oil and flax oil but not the last ingredient and would like to give it a try. Is it the first thing to take in the morning or can it be after a cup or tea - I'm not really alive till then.lol
I'm not really following any special lc diet, I have ME/CFS0 -

I'm not really following any special lc diet, I have ME/CFS and find reading a bit difficult most days, so just going by the links and comments on this thread.
Thanks again in advance, promise to learn as quick as I can and then stop pestering.0 -
Food for yesterday was good
B&L - 2 Ryvita thins loaded with cream cheese and sliced grapes.
D - stuffed butternut squash (HFW recipe) loadsa salad and a spoonful of cous cous (which I left). The squash was very nice, but I split 2 squashes for 4 people and 1 quartered would have been enough. I have my leftover for lunch today.
I had 2 squares of dark chocolate and a small glass of jacques cider, while watching telly, that was really lovely and the scales have me down ½lb on yesterday, but I;m going to see over the next couple of days if the small amount of quite carby alcohol has an effect on my weight loss. There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.0
