Very informative, as well as amusing.. sadly0 -
This is hopefully the last day of the carb detox. Or the penultimate. Really tired midday, craving some starch/sugar. But I didn't let it get the better of me!
Get yourself a mockolate danish inside yous. (recipe list 3 mins of a job)
Feels like the best treat you ever had and only about 5 or 6 g carb. I have em with a little double cream. Yum. You wouldn't know you were following a way of eating, honest. These are great. I often feel misplaced guilt when I have one, they're that good.

Got lots of good beautiful plants today. Hit the plant rescue bit and got a few for bug*er all. Will make nice additions to the bathroom.
My garden is mostly dark red and black at the mo (v goth), have got a couple o lime green plants to liven it up a bit
Love the funereal, feel tho. Got some 'dark pink with frills' tulips last year but they've come up black! The darkest tulips ever! Imagine my glee!
Anyhoo, got back from plant purchasing and got invite out with bro. Went, of course. So how many carbs is 6 pts strongbow?

Am going to be busy what with all the planting to be done. I love gardening! Esp as this year it's looking like we may see a summer
I do hope so
Last year my lovely rose 'waterfall' (pink, I am a girly goth) was just about to see some results from my 6 years of effort when rain stopped play. Hope it'll do it this year. I want it to, it's almost bursting with the urge, we can only pray
Well, off to nod. I should if I'm gona do the old plants justice on the morrow:)
Hi to U4EA and focus! Good to have more lovely folk on here!

focus, I would echo what mazzers said about supplements. I haven't taken any since I started low-carbing, probably because I was too tight to buy any  I have felt fine. It's only when I start eating carbs that things start going haywire!!
Having said that, I'm thinking of starting the Idiot Proof Diet plan & I will buy any supplements required (loads _pale_) if I go ahead with it because I want to follow it to the letter.0 -
Thanks for the paleo links Ted, have just watched them & feel quite subdued now, especially with the food one
I need to sort myself out.

Heigh ho, hows everyone??
Bit cloudy here in S Wales, hope it brightens up.
Am in quite a good mood, dont know why as i'm 2lbs heavier than my lowest weigh in, but.. that graph is great cos the overall trend is down, cant recommend it enough.:)
Been up since 8.30 but dont fancy eating yet so gonna have a tidy up before breakfast.0 -
Just went to cook bacon and scrambled egg, knew i had a pack of bacon as opened it yesterday and had one slice, but.. it was gone, the whoe pack, thats what comes of having grown up sons, they eat everything and dont bother to say 'hey mum, get some bacon, we've gutsed the lot'
Same with the cheese
Luckily for them i had a chorizo, so had that with scrambled egg and a fried tomato.
Luckily for me they dont know what to do with a chorizo :rotfl:0
