LittleMiss, I struggled at times with trying to be low-carb & feeding my family at the same time.
Some meal ideas that can be mixed high/low carb -
Curry - rice for bf/broc & cauli for you
Fritatta/Omelette - bf could have with beans
Chilli - rice for bf/broc & cauli for you
Veggie fry-up - add beans & fried bread for bf
Salad - bf can have with spuds & you get extra salady stuff/boiled eggs etc
Sorry, I'm not veggie but am assuming you are from your menu post, so I think the above is quorn-friendly.0 -
Oops, just noticed you already had curry today
And salad. Sorry, I'm trying to watch Ashes to Ashes & post at the same time!!

And you can both have a cooked brekkie type meal missy.
Feel a bit peckish now, cant be a*sed to eat tho as i'm on the bed with lappy, (is a good deterrent)
For the first time someone in work that hasnt seen me for a while said i'd lost weight, even in my loose white coat, which kinda hides it (and white makes you look bigger obviously) so am chuffed. :j
That why the scales can lie post keepig me positive too.0 -

Ordered mine from supermart_usa as well so I bet I have the same problem when it eventually arrives.
I emailed them yesterday and they've emailed back saying they've given me a refund which is good - and they didn't ask for it back. But I still can't watch it0 -
Morning all!
Yesterday
B,snack+Lunch
Made a tub up of boiled egg, cheddar pieces, 3 cherry toms, turkey from Sunday and mayo, had for above meals with lots of salad at lunch too.
D - Mockolate danish and double cream, recipe later
Felt a bit rough last night so just had the danish then aimed for an hour kip. Woke up at midnightFed cats and went to bed.
Will today be having the same lunch box for brekkie and lunch. Seems to work well and eating slowly does make a difference.
Funny how you neither eat, smoke nor drink when you are asleep. :rotfl:
Now just got to master exercising whilst unconcious
Stick with it guys! Eat when you are hungry - just have lots of good snacks about.
Try the danish, surprisingly wonderful!

As promised
MOCKOLATE DANISH
2 ounces cream cheese
1 egg
2 teaspoons Splenda or equivalent amount of other sweetener
1 1/2 tablespoons cocoa powder
3 tablespoons of ground almonds
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Warm cream cheese in microwave for 30 second. Then add all other ingredients. Whisk until well blended. Microwave for 1 minute, leaving the centre slightly undercooked. This is like chocolate sponge pudding with thick custard in the middle.
MOCK DANISH
2 oz. cream cheese (1/4 package)
1 egg
2 tsp Splenda
1/2 tsp vanilla
cinnamon to taste
Soften the cream cheese in the microwave in a cereal bowl. Beat with a spoon until smooth. Add the egg and beat until creamy. Add the rest of the ingredients and scrape down the sides with a spatula to get all the batter in the bottom of the bowl.
Microwave on high for 30 seconds; rotate bowl and cook another 30 seconds. You may have to cook a little longer, depending on your microwave, but the centre should be a little soft for the Danish filling effect. Run a spatula around and under the Danish to release it from the bowl and transfer upside down to a small plate
Got these from Dr Bernsteins website (thanks Karen) and I can vouch for the mockolate. The other has no almond flour so could be good for those avoiding nuts.
Let me know what you think if you try them.

Good morning all :hello:
Mercy, those recipes sound delish!! Wish I had a microwave
Well, I am considering re-starting low-carb today. Kids back at school & hubby back at work & I do have low-carb stuff in the fridge sooooooo, no excuses really. Going to have another cup of coffee & think it over. If I do re-start then I don't want any lapses so need to make sure I'm strong & my head is in the right zone - yeah man!!
Back later peeps.0
