Have I managed to kill the thread?!:eek:
I'm looking forward to the weekend.
Am taking Lula's advice and going to attempt to sort out my massive pile of mags this weekend.
I also need to start my ebay empire so might try and get some snaps of my stuff ready to sell sell sell
So what is everyone else up to this weekend?
Gwen - I tried to pm you but your inbox is full...I'm not being rude and not replying!!!I've got my own flat :j:j

Hi everybody

Was that a tumble weed I spotted
I'm here, with cat & pink elephantMmmmmm I am so loving that wine, it's almost scary.
Cat is fairly well settled in. Likes to be in the same room & is currently laid out flat on the rug next to me. He really is very easy so far & all my anxieties have faded. He likes company but I was out for 4 hours today & when I came back he was fast asleep under the sofa so quite chilled at being on his own too. DD1 came over earlier & was a bit over confident at his being so relaxed, picked him up & he gouged a chunk out of her. I will be happier when he can go outside as I'd hate to be cooped up indoors all the time.
I have a nice lie in planned for tomorrow morning with a book & cup of coffee. DD can deal with cat. Will need to do some washing & need to go to library at some point & then plan to potter in the garden. On sunday we're off to the allotment for more free veg & weeding. Next week end will be expensive as DDs' birthday so keeping things low key this one.
Hope everyone ok

What's the current status of the new home makeup ? Is it a case of waiting for applications to be officially received & processed ? Do you have a timescale ? Sorry for all the questions, am excited on your behalf,0

Hello all, hope everyone is okay.
I am seriously sick of being poor:rolleyes:.
I need to get a grip here because I am going to be 40 soon :eek::eek: (in a few years anyway) and I can't keep living like this and seeing make up's lovely house has really made me start pining for one of my own. I have done an inventory of everything I have already got for my house but if I don't stop spotting bargains I will end up with an entire houseful of stuff and no house to put it in:rolleyes: It would be a much better idea for me to move in with nothing and start filling it when I can.
As usual I am making a plan. I need to be debt free, have at least 3 years of ISA payments saved up for emergencies and at least a 30% deposit to keep any mortgage payments fairly low.
So I am going to try to live as frugally as possible for a year, bearing in mind that tomorrow I will probably change my mind and if I do give it a go I will be surprised if I last a couple of weeks.:o But I have been quite pleased with how long I lasted on the clothes challenge and after a while I didn't really think about it. I know I could be frugal if I put my mind to it, I am always really impressed with the people on the 4k challenge and wish I had tried harder with that.
I want to start on Ocober 1st as if I wait for Jan 1st I will have gone off the idea plus I will not be able to get any new clothes in the Autumn.I will probably delete this post tomorrow but I need to do something:rolleyes:

Thanks ShoeGal, I won't last too long:o but doing anything is better than doing nothing. I can't do a little bit frugal, I have to do all or nothing:oPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0
