Just popping in briefly to say that I have passed my inspection :) ... but have been advised to install a cat flap when the 6 weeks is up so cat can mooch in & out at will. It's all in the plan as I have no intention of becoming a doorwoman

I am wondering why I have allowed DD to have a long haired fluffy black cat when I have lovely gleaming white floorboards  Shows how crazy I really am, although DD has mentioned that in addition to scooping poop - ugh- she will also take on hoovering duties ... I like :D.

Yay well done. My kitties are happy for you :D

    Awww thanks :D

makeup - I wanted a large & dangerous looking Ginger Tom  but DD rejected him on the grounds that he wasnt very attentive  & has chosen a long haired _pale_ very fluffy black number with gorgeous green eyes. She has decided to rename him Jedi , so I'm expecting him to be a whizz with a light saber.

Great news on the bonus Carole :j I think you're allowed to spend it how you please ;).

Has anyone heard from Hollyberry recently ? she's been gone for ages :( & I think that Bowski & Nicnacnoo have also been on holiday for too long.

Makeup & Gwen : get that pile of mags & papers down to the recycling bank immediately, you're scaring me :(

Yes, getting rid of them is high on my list of things to do. Hopefully next week work will be quieter and I will reclaim my life.

Congrats on the cat Lula! When does he arrive?

Hollyberry has been missing a while, say Hello if you're lurking Holly!

I don't think I've ever said Hello to CaroleM, so :hello: CaroleM. Well done on the bonus! I think boots and a winter coat are great purchases to make with it!
Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending

Welcome back Bowski , hope you had a fab holibob :D

Gwen - cat has to be checked over by vet tomorrow & then we can pick him up the next day if all is well. Have been feeling very up & down about it  & my conclusion is that I am commitment / responsibility phobic :o. Not sure what that's all about but it really freaks me out.

Best get back to work now,

    see you later
    xx
  • Thanks Lula, thanks Gwen! :D

    Hi Yargo,

good to hear from you & glad to hear that you are about to leap back on to the MSE wagon.

It's been spend, spend, spend here today; ink cartridges, litter trays + litter, food, scratching posts, bowls, toys etc etc ... £40 later I'm calculating just how many bottles of wine I could get for that .

I am still doing the moring yoga session but felt like an old lady this morning, I think all that digging & slab lifting has finally caught up with me :(.

I did do an hours walk to the next village & back this morning as well  not just for fun, there was a £100 cheque to pay into the bank ;). I've also eaten well today but I'm now savouring some wine & determined to only consume 2 bottles a week ... at some point.

Hope everyone else has had a good day :D

Why does your cat need an ink cartridge? :p

Hello all and welcome back yargo:D. I have wine and am starving but too lazy to go to the kitchen. Very uneventful day, moving some money around to prevent me going overdrawn and putting some coins in the piggy is the total of today's MSEing. :o

Am very bored at the moment and need a change, have been enquiring into new job which will be my own job with added bits and I think it will be okay, just need to get myself motivated. Am pining for my own home and not really hating it here, just feeling dissastisfied. Damned hormones:rolleyes:. Thank goodness I have wineicon7.gif

hmmmm sarah, why is it that when I see that you have wine, I suddenly feel the need to replenish my glass .

Curiously enough, I too am starving & keep thinking of the wotsits in my kitchen cupboard ... but am too lazy to go get them & also have been quite good so dont want to spoil it.

My cat will be keeping my spending diary for me & I insist on paw-written entries in real ink :D

I like shuffling money around from one account to another, makes me feel as though I am actually achieving something, sad but true
