    Hello my fabby friends,

Shoe Gal, am so sorry I didnt send you that last glass - just ddidnt seem worth it really.

The new bottle is open & I have to say it's glugging down a treat; must be the peanuts I bought to accompany it:rotfl:

It's probably going to undo all the effort I've put in today but never mind, overall I think I'm well on the way to making those healthy changes to my life style & I am feeling pretty good :) I am now quite used to getting up & launching straight into the yoga then having peppermint tea for breakfast. After I'd finished work today DD & I went for an hour long walk to one of our favourite places & then we sat & watched Prince Caspian with our dinner :o.

I'm trying to only drink 2 cups of coffee a day, the first one about 10.30 ish when I also have some toast, the second no later than 2. If I drink it any later it doesnt prevent me form falling asleep ... but I do wake up about 4.30 am . I'm also drinking loads of water every day. I no longer need squash to make it tasty, just a slice of lemon. I do want to get back on the bikes again but both DD & I are unwilling until we have new comfort saddles.

Good luck for the new job Misselvis
  • Hello all, I have nice wine tonight so no need for anything to take away the taste, a shame as I could have done with the excuse for some chocolate:D

Good luck with your new job Misselvis:beer:
I can't believe there are people who don't get their clothes ready the night before:confused: That's wasting valuable sleeping time in the morning:D

    Today's list
    • coins in piggy
    • collected £10 scratchcard win
    • moved money around to avoid being overdrawn
    • read papers online
Not much but better than nothing. Still need to get on with the decluttering. :o

  • Shoe Gal - I was good last night, I got my clothes out for the morning again, and got up to find the weather totally different from the forecast yesterday, so ended up wearing something totally different......so it didnt really help at all in the end,

    Good luck Miss Elvis!

I also 'stole' some of my spending money and put it into my savings so I have a nice round figure on my spreadsheet....it looks much prettier now but I'm worried that my spreadsheet obsession is out of control - I could have spent that money on interesting/pretty things.....but I didnt, just so my spreadsheet would be more attractive......is there therapy for this sort of problem?!

Well, I expected a hideous day of work but instead barely scraped a living .

Sarah, have you been shopping yet ? Pink Elephants or clothes is fine, I just want to know that you have treated yourself in some way ( to make me feel better about my treats :D)

DD1 has just departed for another holiday leaving the pile of stuff she emptied from her case in the middle of the hall - there were 3 bags amongst the debris - seems she inherited my 'packing for every eventuality' style :rotfl:. I had to drive her car to drop her off & nearly crashed  funny how quick one forgets what driving without PAS is like :o.

Little DD is ensconced at Brownies for another half hour & I can relaaaax for bit. I think its time for Pink Elephant to come trumpeting my way ... ;)

Not yet, am going to wait until payday:D I cashed in my lottery ticket and just checked quidco and my £70 car insurance which I had to put in a ticket for has finally been validated and is going to be paid at the end of the month:j

Have had a nice day off doing some more decluttering, took a couple of bags to the charity shop, did 2 loads of washing, paid some coins into my savings and went to Morrisons and got milk, a punnet of raspberries, a chocolate pudding, a bag of new potatoes and a ham sandwich for £1.74 -yay to the reductions chiller:j

Oh :( As I cant spend any money on clothes I'm having to live vicariously now ... so excited for you :j.

Well done on a succesful day off. Hurray for Quidco validation & chiller cabinet bargains :) You've also reminded me that the large carrier bag in my room that's beginning to fade into the background is actually destined for the charity shop :o . I also have an old keyboard, telephone & 2 bags of garden waste to declutter so might have an outing to the tip tomorrow. I know how to have fun :D. I have to spend money on friday so tomorrow needs to be NSD ... will have to amuse myself with decluttering, tidying, cleaning & washing then

I've had to ban myself from having peanuts in the house. I cannot be trusted with any form of snacks.

I have seen some lovely tops I [STRIKE]want[/STRIKE] need so will be doing some shopping at the weekend, have found a 20% off code so really they will be a [STRIKE]bit less expensive [/STRIKE]bargain.:D

It's coming to something when the person who started a thread on not buying clothes is encouraging me to throw myself at the racks:rotfl:Luckily I have more space in my wardrobe to accommodate them now:D

I have eaten the last packet of crisps in the cupboard and won't be getting anymore multi packs. It is just too tempting.

I know, I should be ashamed of myself :o. I will have to do the challenge all over again next year but am definitely going to pace myself. The fact that I cant even remember what I spent that £85 on just shows how trivial the purchases must have been

Oh no, I'd forgotten about that multipack in the cupboard
I must not eat crisps, I must not eat crisp, I must not eat crisps ...
