Oooh lots of news,
Welcome back Carole - hope you had a fab holiday
Fantastic lotto winings sarah :j. Now for goodness sake will you go & buy some clothes; of everyone on the clothes challenge I expected you to fall first, & here you are 9 months in having only spent £10
. It's simply not good enough
.
Sorry to hear you're a man down SBC
Bad luck on the dodgy connection eco  hope it rsolves itself soon
TDQ - glad to hear you're being a man about townwe expect nothing less . As to my visit, I'm heading all the way to Camborne but having just watched panorama I'll be very careful about which beaches I paddle on . Actually that's most unlikely to happen as I only do sea dipping on the med - not a fan of hypothermia .
All good here & have lost 2lbs ( not too excited though as I may well have regained it by tomorrow.) would you beleive that I am still on the same bottle of wine that I bought last week . It is so nasty that I can only face one glass a night & gave myself a night off from it on saturday. If anyone is even remotely considering buying The Pink Chill from the co op ... DONT, it's vile*makes a note to never drink anything marked zinfandel again*. I swear that I poured this glass to watch Waking the Dead with & stillhave half left. I even tried cheese & onion crisps (yuk ugh ) to make it taste better ... it didnt.
It's a damn punishment, not a treat .
I need to stock up my spirits cupboard, have nothing in at all. First acquisition will be Gordons  . I have loads of survey points but not one of them can be redeemed for Threshers or the like, need to think how best to do this, very expensive :rolleyes:0 -

Thanks Lula Hula, it was ace, very strange as I went with a friend who lived out there for a year teaching for a charity school in the shanty towns outside Lima, so instead of travelling around checking out the archaeology as we normally do, we stayed in one place and visited the kids she used to teach and their families. Unfortunatly, all the incredibly cute kids have made me really broody!
Last night I did the strangest thing, I had half promised myself that I would start to look a bit smarter for work, as I normally roll in looking like stig of the dump.....so last night, i organised my wardrobe, putting all trousers together, and all cardis together and so on, to make it easier to find what i need, and I even worked out what i wanted to wear today and hung it on the front of the wardrobe.....possibly my self sabotaging behaviours days are behind me?....Debt free date - 4th December 2008 :j0 -
Carole - sounds like you have Gok'd your own wardrobe there. Could just be post holiday enthusiasm though - I completely cleared mine out & always think about what I'm going to wear the next day ... but never actually get it organized. Glad you had agreat holiday though.
Shoe Gal - if only I'd known that you like the Pink Chill, I could have saved myself the trouble of eating all those crisps . I just found it so so sweet.
Sarah - red is fine as long as it's Merlot & a teeny bit watered down. As I've said before I have no colour prejudice.
I've been to the co op this morning & treated myself to a bottle of pink elephant wine. Think it's real name is Balance but the label has a picture of a pink elephant standing on a very small stool which I find very amusing - & I love elephants & things pink so it's perfect for me
Ooops got to get on with some work now
