    Hello,

I was out having a smallish slice of life but am now home wearing cosy clothes with wine.

I made my appearance at the boss's party & then slipped away after an hour or so. Hate leaving without saying goodbye but she was deep in conversation so girls said they would do the honours on my behalf.

I didnt realise how cold the evenings have become until getting back in the car. Came home to find an ambulance parked across the garage access, turns out one of my lovely 'characterful' neighbours had a heart attack. He's been waiting some time for a hospital bed for an operation so in a bizarre way, this may help him . What with that & the boss's illness I feel quite sad tonight.

Nothing I can do about any of it, but it does make me want to cherish each day & those I love. It also makes me determined to keep as healthy as possible although I realise that doesnt guarantee immunity from ill health.

I am glad to hear that both of you ^ are going to have big clear out. I dropped off a load of clothes at one of those clothing banks today & I can now actually move the hangers along the rail in my wardrobe :D

Well, I have been through the wardrobe and thrown out 5 tops and 2 skirts. I am not very good at this. I will have to go through it again, I have kept a lot of things because they are in good condition, but I can't see me wearing them again. Off for another root around in there.

I think you need to be ruthless  Does it fit? Does it make you look/feel F Fabulous?

If not - in the bin it goes

Have thrown out another 10 things, so it's getting a bit better. The problem with the above is that I have to also think "does it fit?" as if I throw all the non-fab clothes that do fit out I will be left with hardly anything. I feel a spree coming on;)

Bowski: All of the pubs/cafes around here have free wi-fi for all the poor students. I'm currently enjoying another fine pint of cornish ale and watching the boats bob about.

I helped move in 100 foundation art freshers yesterday, lots of very attractive ladies ;) Will be going out on the town with them later today and for the rest of this week

  • Hello! :hello:

Am trying to catch up on what I have missed, have got as far as topless neighbours, so still loads to go.

Just wanted to let the shopaholics know that I popped to H&M at lunch and they had an offer on, if you buy 2 things you get 20% off the most expensive one. The lovely girl at the till not only told me about the offer, but also put my stuff through as 2 transactions to save me maximum money, she saved me £2.80 bless her.

Anyway, will catch up and then say hello properly,

    xxx

  • Hi All

Sorry I haven't posted for a while. Lost yet another member of my team & he was supposed to be on call this week so I've been stuck with doing it. 4th consecutive week now & I'm feeling pretty tired.

In my semi narcoleptic state I managed to drop a large heavy chef's knife onto my foot earlier, pointy end 1st.
Luckily it wasn't 100% vertical when it hit & my sock absorbed some of the impact but it still broke the skin. Lucky escape there methinks.

Anyway, hows everyone else doing. All well I hope.
