Oh seriously Makeup that's hilarious :rotfl::rotfl: He definitely needs to read the book! Oh I can't stop giggling
Well done on the amazon sales, it certainly will all add up. I should sell some of mine, I only read about 2 books a year so got a good 30 years worth waiting on the shelf for me
Great to see you back Hollyberry :j I don't envy you one bit re: the godchildren but I hope you have a lovely day tomorrow. I haven't been to the sealife centre in years but I used to love it.
Lula you so deserve wine firstly for being F-Fabulous and secondly for managing 2 days without biscuits :jInitial Debt July 2020 - £6,772.80

makeup is doing really well but we are keeping the chat off this thread
makeup I don't suppose you fancy starting a diary where we can discuss MBing so other people can also see what's happening? If not I'll start a thread but I don't know to phrase it as I'm not actually in debt at the moment..0 -
Have sold another book on Amazon which is great news, not for much but it all adds up and also means another book gone from my pile!!
Discovered I'm not exactly making my fortune on Amazon as I've just had to pay out more in postage than the flipping book sold for :rolleyes:
Luckily I had a good sale earlier in the year so I'm still 'up' if you add the total of my 3 books together.
Have learnt lesson though and will now be checking remaining books to make sure they're small enough to class as large letter.
I just missed out on that by literally mm's and so instead of postage being 99p, it was 1.85 :eek:I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction0 -

Steady, really well is a bit of an over-exaggeration. I would probably class it more as 'not made a complete t*t of herself so far'
I suppose I could, I keep pretending I'm debt free but that is actually a lie as I have my student loan over my head. I just ignore it though, I'm not overpaying or anything....
Would the thread get moved to GIOL board though?
I suppose I could try and aim to pay off my student loan through Matched Betting. Hmmm, it is around the £3 - 4k mark though. (gosh, how rubbish am I - all this time on DFW board and I don't even know the extent of my debts..or even the apr - I think it might be zero though or even negative??)I've got my own flat :j:j

How much money have you made, including cashback?Would the thread get moved to GIOL board though?
That's why I don't want to start one - I think it might only avoid being moved if it started off as being a general diary (for about 1 post or so..!) and then if the rest was about matched betting to pay off debts, and as long as it didn't mention MBing in the title, I reckon it would be ok. I think if I did one it would be too MBing related and might get shifted.I suppose I could try and aim to pay off my student loan through Matched Betting. Hmmm, it is around the £3 - 4k mark though. Yeah there's an article on MSE about student debts, I think they're all 0% or less now. I'm not sure though as I've never been a student..!

It's not been the most moneysaving of days here, but it's been brilliant fun. What I don't understand is why those of you with children are not sylph-like. After several hours of chasing a three year old around (I reckon he could power a house or two if his mum would be happy to set him up with a large hamster wheel linked to a generator), I swear at least a couple of pounds have fallen off.
I have also learned much about the ways of Spongebob Squarepants, including his disliking for being pinched on the nose by a toy shark (not entirely unreasonable, I feel). Definitely a week's worth of eBaying income well spent.
I have now set myself a new challenge of earning enough to pay for a couple of Eurostar returns to Brussels in October, so that will be a target of £118 by 10 October. So far I've managed £27.03 from Quidco, and £14 cashed out of the scratchies, courtesy of an unexpected fiver this week. I must get off my lazy posterior tomorrow and get some photos done ready for eBay listing on Sunday.
How are you all doing tonight? Isn't it cold??? I think I need to find some proper long trousers (been living in crops all summer) as my nethers are decidedly frigid.0 -
Hey Dan
True, so far have managed £69.96 plus £65 in cashback.
Secondly shall consider starting a MB / clearing debt diary. I'll see what I can think of while I'm away.
Thirdly, thanks for that. Turns out I'm in negative interest - who ever knew that could exist! Also I don't need to pay off straightaway, but should put the cash in savings as get better rate.
So I have a Quidco question, how long do you wait for cashback to track before querying? Practically all the quidco I've had so far has been tracked within a day or so! But Betdaq is taking over a week so far?!Shall I give it another week?
I've got my own flat :j:j

A tired & chilly evening to all,
I knew there was secretive MB talk going on somewhere.
Hollyberry all I have to say to you is : " who lives in a pineapple under the sea " :rotfl:yep, I know the words0
