Yes, it was a book I read a while back, I think it was called something like single and don't care ??

Lula has read it as well.

Apparently this was a motion tabled for discussion in Parliament in the 19th century when there was an imbalance and lots of single women causing havoc.

The shoemakers couldn't keep up with demand for fabulous shoes and milliners were having to work overtime to make all the latest fashion bonnets....
