    Hi Sarah

There's a list of bookies offering free bets, you have a look through and pick which offer you want to do. When you're starting off it should be a Stake Returned free bet, preferably a small one. I think makeup and I decided that Coral is not Stake Returned, so she's doing a different bookie. I can't check the info at the moment though as I'm at work.

    Dan

Thanks Dan. :D Do you know where the list is? Am I looking for a bookie which has "place a £50 bet and get a £50 bet free" thing on it's homepage? How do I know if it's stake returned, do they actually say it on there or do I have to read the small print? Sorry for so many questions:o

    Questions are good :)

Have found the list, which is kept up to date by members of the GIOL board, here: http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pdH8mnFOONhkOSjE_tPHzKA&gid=0

Rather than on the bookies' websites themselves, most of the offers are found either on general betting websites, or in newspapers etc.

The spreadsheet shows you which are Stake Returned (SR) but I can't check it in work so I'll have a look when I'm at home in about an hour.

Even though it tells you stuff on the spreadsheet or GIOL board, always read the small print! Offers sometimes change.

aaargh! That spreadsheet is very confusing:confused: Just when I thought I had it all worked out:o I will try to have a proper look at it tomorrow.

Can anyone else who is doing MB give me any ideas about what bet they have placed?

Yep it's not very well laid out. I'll have a look when I've finished work - only half an hour to go, but am knackered, so have had a rare 2nd Mars Chococcino from the drinks machine, and also found some Tesco popcorn in the office :)

I think makeup is placing bets tomorrow. Maybe if we wait until she is up and running, she'll be able to give a helping hand too.

I don't think I'd ever used one until I started MBing, but I'm ok with them now.

Did we decide about a separate thread? I'm not enjoying scaring people, and wondered if there's anyone who hasn't got a diary thread, who could start one that might end up erm almost exclusively matched betting related?

Snap! That has put me off internet dating too. :o To be honest though, even if I could work one, I still wouldn't do it. Far too embarrassing:o
