I have to go to the supermarket if I'm going to eat anything at all.

Think I'll lay off the booze tonight - got a bit carried away at the weekend.

Just got an e-mail from a pub chain saying "Rose wine & strawberries for two – only £14.95!" ... surely that counts as legitimate moneysaving? Might look a bit bad if I'm sitting there eating and drinking it all on my own though :)

You don't have to justify it, SBC. Enjoy . The reason I'm in this mess is that I've treated myself a little too often in the past.
Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending

Were we happier when we lived as if we had unlimited funds

Hmm, I think there was always something going on in the back of my mind ...a kind of alarm bell that I just ignored....

My plans to take over the world via matched betting have hit a snag.....I somehow managed to not save the matcher spreadsheet
And now on trying to open it again, the bloomin link doesn't work.

I've opened another s/s that someone else has saved on their but it makes no sense....I almost understood the old one!!!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

Hang on I'll find a link to it. The simple version is best I think - like so many things in life..!

Do you think we should relocate the matched betting talk to a different thread? Is it a bit non-shoe-based for in here?

Oh God, that is me exactly. I'll have a new handbag as a treat, I'll have a meal out as a treat.

Me and my friend used to say that all the time - 'you deserve it, you should treat yourself' - problem was we were treating ourselves all the time. We were never not treating ourselves.....

As a sign of how well I'm doing, I should point out that I both resisted the charms of the perfect treat - super-cheap Benefit box 'Justine Case' - it was only about a tenner - half price for flipping Benefit .... I'm pretty impressed I resisted that one. And also the Nails Inc offer that popped in my inbox (4 or 5 products for a tenner) ..
I've got my own flat :j:j
