    Hey All

I find the decluttering a bit addictive although instead of properly decluttering I have moved things around into a pile labelled 'For Ebay/ Amazon etc' So far I have sold one book........

Although I did take 2 massive bags to charity shop and have also chucked out lots of rubbish which feels brilliant and gave a small bag of stuff away on Freecycle.

However this has taken me since Jan to achieve so am mightily impressed in what you've done today.

Buffy - I find doing it in small chunks works best for me, otherwise it is too overwhelming as I am definitely a bit of a hoarder. I just say now I'm going to clear under my bed for 15mins (bit of flylady thing there) and then sometimes I stop after 15 mins and know I'll finish off another time or else I can see I'm nearly there and carry on. Knowing you're only going to do it for 15 mins is very easy. If you are doing a lot, I do 15 mins on one area, move to another for 15 and then again for another 15 and then for the final 15 I sit down with a mag and cup of tea for rest (again another flylady thing). This means you don't take on too much and it is much easier to deal with.

Anyway should be packing for weekend, heading to Birmingham for Easter tomorrow eve so not sure how much will be on internet so Happy Easter if I don't get on before then!!
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

Ooh, I like the sound of that, especially the last 15 mins:D still have loads more to do tomorrow, will keep going while I am on a roll, but I might try it that way instead, with coffee and iplayer/biscuit/magazine/online paper. Have had the radio on all day and find it so much easier with something to isten to, removes a tiny bit of the monotony of bin bag filling.

I like it cos it feels like you are entitled to it! Because I know I'm only sitting down for 15mins and I've worked for 45 it doesn't seem like slacking....well at least to me!

Agree about radio, you need something to keep you going!

    Good luck tomorrow!

Wahey Sarah! So pleased the passport has turned up. :j

I am imagining a Time Team episode... As the passport was sandwiched between a bottle of suncream with an expiry date of June 2008 and a March 2008 edition of Elle, I think we can establish when Sarah last went on holiday..."

That's a fine piece of tidying. And a pretty good haul of useful/valuable stuff too. :T
