    Hmmmm

I need a bit of help here please :D

I'm desperately trying to find out my fuel bill for the last 3 months. I've checked on the website & based on me being on the standard quarterly billing tariff ( cheapest ;)) I've worked out that roughly on it being 90 days worth of both Gas & electricity that it should be approx £150 incluidng vat & standing charges, does that sound about right because it sounds awfully cheap to me .I know that it's summer ish & I was previously on the notorious prepayment key meters but still, that just cant be right can it ?

    Hey All!:hello:

Hope those of you having a bad day yesterday are feeling better:p

I just got the nail varnish offer to work (thank you skint spice!) so if it wasn't working yesterday for you I'd give it another go! - I've never been on the grabbit board before... v.impressed.:D

Hollyberry - Im going to start matched betting end of august, beginning of sept because my OH is off to afgan and I'm hoping that it will give me something to concentrate on (plus I need any extra cash I can:rotfl:)... It always makes me feel a little stupid when I look at it, my brain just seems to run away every time I try to get into it but I will not give up!

Hope your all having a good day...:j

    Mornign Dex and anyone else
(i just found this site isn't blocked at work- Yes naughty but necessary!)
I am having a VERY bad day and it's not even 10am yet.
i woke up to find my fish Lilo dead in her tank...OMG! I'm so sad...i can't believe it...i was having a bit of trouble with algae and changed the water again last night but no sign of impending doom.
so this morning i bought coffee and a macaroni pie and a croissant and proceeded to plan a day of bingeing. and to accompany my mood- the weather has gone from Nice and sunny to dark and miserable in the last 10 minutes...oooh i love the not so sunny highlands.
I'm off to the grabbit board to see if i can get that varnish to cheer myself up.
i do hope you're all having or going to have a better day than me.;)

Hey Ziggles, I hope you got the nailvarnish and it helped cheer you up!

Sorry to hear about your fish, I think a day of comfort eating it perfectly allowed :o so long as you wont feel guilty! some times it's just the best thing.

My cat was run over about 2 months ago now, I lost his sister 11 months previous (and I live in a quiet village), I still miss him - I can't talk to myself and pretend Im talking to the cat anymore:rolleyes:

It's pretty grey and horrible too, I hope your day gets better - the nailvarnish really made me smile - it's so true what they say about small things:rotfl:

Ziggles - sorry to hear about Lilo, and I think a day of modest bingeing is no bad thing. Not sure what a macaroni pie is, but it sounds nice (and solid enough to warm you up on a rainy day).

Dex - perhaps you, Gwen and I can knock our brains together ready for the start of the season. I was hoping that there would be some good offers at the bookies to sign up for via Quidco or TCB, and then we could get on with the business of betting in August.

OH had a brilliant work day yesterday, so I am still all excited for him. And his net connection was finally functioning at his office, so I may be able to reclaim my computer back in the evenings, if it wasn't just teasing him yesterday.

Today's plan (just to make sure there is no slacking here!) is to: unpack the last small packing bag of holiday clothes (about A4 sized, so not too arduous), check eBay sales, do scratchcards, check if Valued Opinions is happy to pay up yet, check email, haul case upstairs and find somewhere to hide it, sort out more stuff to eBay to start saving for next year's hols...

Just went and had a gander at this matched betting malarki and now my head hurts! lol, might try again when my little monsters arent running around my feet!

Ziggles - sorry about the fish, mine died a few weeks ago, the kids were upset and wouldnt let me throw 'the fish with no name' down the loo so i had to wait til they had gone to bed and just say that 'the fish with no name' had gone to heaven!

Hollyberry - nice to see you have a plan for the day, not sure if i'll be doing anything, the weather is crud!

Ive already spent the best part of a tenner today, but managed to get stuff for tea tonight and tomorrow, milk, bus ticket and some sweets and crisps for the brats to keep em quiet!
Today is rubbish, weather wise so not going out, got washing to dry so its infront of the fire cos the launderette at the top of the street closed without telling me...how dare they!

Hope you all have a great day :o)
