You're right, it will get easier. That's what I'm hoping too. Once you really start making big inroads into it, you'll be able to dramatically reduce the amount of interest you're paying. When you're finished you'll be able to get a new car and you'll still have your flat, which is great. I'm glad you've got a treat budget, everybody needs a treat now and then.
I guess, I still feel guilty buying treats but otherwise will end up going around feeling like pants, my treat budget is clothes/make-up. I'm really trying to hold myself back this month:D:o0 -
Getting myself the things that the lack of boyfriend/husband void presents .
Exactly. No reason why us singletons should miss out. It's called "self gifting" apparently. We are worth it.:j

Weighloss going okay, I want to get to 26lbs off by Christmas and am on 4lbs so far, am going to set myself a challenge of 7lbs in July.
I was very worried in JL when my favourite glass wasn't there, but it is still available on the internet with free delivery, so hopefully I will get it next week. :j
4lbs, that's great!:j

Too right! I want a really nice ring, not dead expensive, just something nice in silver (well for the moment, something platinum later maybe) and I intend to just get it myself if I haven't got a fella to buy it for me.Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending0 -

If your treats budget is £50 per month, that would really only put your DFD back by 1-2 months, so it's definitely worth it. If you don't have nice things to look forward to you might go on a spree so it's the sensible thing to do.Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -

Exactly. Get it and enjoy it:D I have several lovely silver necklaces for the same reason. If people with boyfriends can get little gifts, so can we. I also intend to have platinum ones later:DPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
Hello
I'm back from my trip away, I've definitely caught the sun. Had a fun time though and loved my dip in the sea this morning although it was definitely 'invigorating'!!
Skint -:beer::beer: on the DFD!! Does this mean you are now changing your name to Loadsamoney Spice??
Lula - Hurrah for Killers. I went to live 8 and afterwards was in Maccy D's and Brandon came in!!! I'd got an old style disposable camera though and used all the pics up so too late for a pic with him!!!!
Sounds really amazing though, I love those big outdoor gigs - especially when weather good.
Holly - I watched the Specials too and just thought they were fantastic, I really must get their album, I know so many of their songs! I really really really want to go to Glastonbury, I know I would love it and I can get over the mud and the toilets for sure! It is only for a weekend!!I hope next year I can rally some friends round.
Gwen - you seem to have sorted out lots over the weekend - hurrah!
To the hungover ladies - carbs carbs carbs and diet coke
Pink - wowza on the major pay off this month. Definitely big pat on the back for that one!
The talk about the hayfever reminds me of my mum telling me about when she met my Dad, she had visions of Summer being spent having lovely romantic picnics in the park and that kind of thing but my Dad has bad hayfever so instead they spent it at the Cinema which was the only air-conditioned place in those days!!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills
And feed my interiors addiction0 -
