    me walking...

Hello all my lovely single friends how are you all.

I walked my 10 km - I was the last in the group who went from here:o:o but I did it.

My legs hurt like mad, I got a little sunburnt but it was great fun. People from the chat thread are lovely - I was the only one without kids and I never once felt left out.

the saturday was a bit tough, I was on my own. I checked in to the hotel on my own, woke up on my own etc. It felt good that I was able to do it you know - by myself etc. but I have to be honest and say that walking round Leeds was cool I did get a little lonely till my friends showed up.

I am so knackered now, not done my work for tomorrow but I guess that is why they invented going in early!!

will try and catch up now

    Love Buffyxxxxx

did I mention my legs hurt? ouch. xx

I am hopeless, and getting nowhere

Excuse me :naughty:, you most definitely are not hopeless. You are the founder of the goddess plan which has made us all indulge in more pampering ... that makes you F Fabulous :A

makeup - I am so excited about going out with my sis :D she is fab, goes to lots of gigs herself & we've done few festivals together too ;)

Last year we saw Foo Fighters at Wembley & the year before it was The Killers :heartpuls It has been so hard to stay away from any form of news & I'm dreading hearing something on the radio which lets me know. I will definitely clock in on saturday to let you know.

I've managed to maintain my 6lbs loss so far so quite happy with that. I did over indulge a bit at the weekend so have just tried to eat a bit less today to compensate.

I've paid antoerh £100 off CC1 today so getting close to the below £5,000 target. I'd really like to be under £4,000 by the end of the year but just dont know if that's possible ...

Well done Buffy, you are brilliant :A

Hello Ladies and The Boss, hope you're all sleeping soundly... I'be been back in Oz a whole 6hrs and could come home tonight!

I have all sorts of financial shenanigans to sort out including sending $1100 home for my summer's rent, $100 to cover my phone bill for the summer and $100 to keep my Natwest account in the black. So that's $1300 out of my $1400 monthly wage before I've bought food! Not to mention that said rent, phone bill and bank account are USELESS to me until I get back in September :(

On the plus side I'm quitting smoking tomorrow morning and I get a weeks free gym membership thanks to working at the mine. After that it's only $25 for a fortnight which works out at about 22GBP a month :D
I also have nearly $1500 in over-paid tax to claim back off the Aussie government AND at least a weeks pay from my company who docked me when they shouldn't have.

At least I have the fact that it's only 2months to survive to keep me going!

    Hi TDQ,

sounds like you should just about break even with a bit of juggling.

Good news on the gym  & even better news that you're giving up smoking (again :p:D)

My plan for today is to do a bit of much needed cleaning & the minimal amount of work that I've been allocated then hang around for hours waiting for gas engineer to arrive to service the boiler, only for him to discover that, during the kitchen refit Mastikman got a bit overenthusiastic & decided to mastik the boiler to the wall

    Hiya,
makeup thanks for the recipes, they look brilliant, and I've loads of broad beans, I'll just have to stop eating them straight from the pods and save some.
Buffy hope your legs are feeling better, I went to the Whiterose on Saturday, which is near Leeds, if I'd known you were on your own I'd have come down, but there's loads to see in Leeds so you were probably ok.
Sarah what are you checking on Nectar points, I'm rubbish at collecting them so if it's a way to gain more could you let me know, thanks.
Off to do some work, be back soon, Hollyberry your weekend sounded great, especially letting the ducks cross the road, that's lovely.

Hi All...sorry to butt in but i need some advice from all you guru's:D
i am sharing with someone who insists that we go food shopping together...but our tastes are so different it's basically buying our own stuff (except the cleaning and store cupboard stuff) and paying half come tote up at till time.
I've split food shopping bills before and it was fine because we were a good match but i am not seeing the benefit to my pocket or sanity of buying liquid laundry soap and tablets, normal tea and decaff etc. etc. then paying half....am i being unreasonable? I find that at the end of all this we end up with a freezer full of food i don't really want to eat as well...so what to do?
Do you have any ideas of how do this amicably before a murder is committed.

    thanks guys
