Yes, my mouth is lots better. Am being careful with what I'm eating and am doing the salt water rinses but was only really bad on the first day. .... Just hoping work doesn't set it all off again!!!!!
It is great to be part of such a supportive community! :T:TI've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

Hey All
Thanks for the kind words and wishes!
It was very scary but feel tons better now although completely knackered as got hardly any sleep.
My flat is the ground floor of a converted house and it is set back from the road and has a high fence in front, my neighbour from the flat to the side of the house has a van and he parks it in front of my window.
I woke up to hear 2 boys/ men discussing something outside my window - at first thought was my flat mate but soon realised it wasn't. Was clear after a while that they were hiding after committing a crime and was thinking about calling the Police when I heard the helicopter overhead. I called straightaway when I heard that and was whispering to the Police really worried they could hear me.
I told my flatmate what had happened and I made us hide in the kitchen (at the back) til the Police arrived.
The boys were gone but the Police confirmed it was them they were looking for.
I've been checking out news websites but found nothing so far. I live in SE London which is pretty notorious for knife crime and so was worried someone had been stabbed and the perps were in front of my flat!
There's been no follow up from the Police and I was shaken last night but feel fine now.
I went out for Fathers Day lunch today which was lovely. My 2 yr old niece was there and has decided the correct pronunciation of my name is Oh No......somewhat disconcerting to have a small person pointing at you whilst shouting Oh No Oh No!!
Eco - sounds like you had a great evening - what a great boost! I haven't forgotten about your fennel recipes and will pm you asap.
The Boss - hey there! converse are pretty cool..navy & white would go with most I think? I'm casual for work too and I love it, I'm not naturally tidy and could never manage all that ironing needed for a proper work outfit!
Lula - red shoes can be classy, think depends on whole outfit. I have red shoes but they are trainer-ish so wouldn't be classed as slutty....
Sarah - you are really doing well with the small things list, I know the weight is fluctuating but you must be feeling better from eating more healthily??
Feefee - yay to new man :j:j boo to falling off dfw wagon, hope you hitch yourself up soon again!
Hope everyone else is feeling good and ready for Monday. I feel so like a day off!! Still going to bed now to at least try and catch up on sleep!
Take care!
Wow, that must have been so freaky. Where in SE was it? I used to live in Bexley...
As for the Converses, now I have the seal of approval from others, I think I'm going to head to Bluewater or Lakeside tomorrow to buy some :cool:0 -

I was eying up £150 for an Orange new contract earlier. Just waiting for the Nokia N97 to become available. We get £80 credit from Vodafone through WPP, but this one blows it away.
Didn't see the Converses on there though and have never even tried any on, so will still need to go to Lakeside or Bluewater. Will be disciplined though0 -
Back again,
good to hear from Inky Cats too
Ok, red shoes will be my next purchase. I now have 8  weeks to get myself looking my best for the hol.
I've had a delicious bath, & done all my treatments :jmust now really keep focused on the diet, & increase the amount of exercise I do.
Halfway through the year now ... I could have been a size zero by now :rotfl:just like homework, I always leave things to the last minute / 8 weeks0 -

Grrrr. That is so me. Never done anything unless there is only the bare minimum of time left. Hence my attempt to actually do something about it this year rather than remind myself every Christmas that if I had started in the summer I would be 2 stone lighter.
Get the red shoes! Mine are lovely and always get noticed. They will be fab for posing on your hols:DPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -
On a random point, I really like this thread. I get thanked by you good people for every post (even though I'm sure I'm talking a lot of rubbish) yet I used to devote hours to helping people on the Credit Card board back in my heyday and got nothing0

I live on the edge of Peckham (nr Old Kent Road if you know the area).
I'm always pleased that someone has read my post commented on it! Definitely worth a thanks!
And sometimes really simple things like - I hope you feel better soon - are real mood-boosters!
(If you want to get super-thanks, can I recommend the Bootsing thread. Post on there with the bargains in your local Boots and you can get something like 20 or 30 'thanks'!!!!!!)I've got my own flat :j:j
