    Hi Shoe Gal

Sort of in same situation. My friend and her partner were supposed to be here at 1pm but delayed due to rain. Then they were going to be here 4pm and now it's going to be 6pm!!

Thought I would keep myself busy by trying to figure out how to sign up to challenges and put the footer at the bottom of messages.

    What is Adios max?

Hope you have something nice planned for this evening.

They are slimming tablets, the ones where the girl in the advert runs outside in her knickers - can't see me doing that :rotfl::rotfl:

I have nothing planned this evening as was supposed to be out all day  So I am going to get a curry and read a trashy book :D Diet and debt busting can start again tomorrow

I know the advert don't think the streets will be full of women in their underwear anytime soon.

I'm currently on the 'heartbreak diet' guaranteed to work everytime:rotfl:

Poor you - silver lining though?

It never works for me - misery always makes me eat more :rotfl:

Whenever I am stressed or upset the first thing that goes is my appetite and I have to conciously remember to eat....good way to save money though!!

As for saving money....I was looking to sign up to the grocery challenge but think I am about to fall at the 1st hurdle. I thought I would try at £40 per week so I took £40 out today. I then spent £24.44 on wine and breakfast ingredients for my friends staying. We are supposed to be going for dinner this evening so that will be the remainder of my £40 gone on the first day!! Maybe I need to think about a social fund or eat enough this evening to last me all week!!

Well, I've had 3 people cancel on me, 2 at the last minute for this week, and one for a night out I've really been looking forward to in 2 weeks time. So I'm feeling a bit down now and a bit bored!

    How is everyone? :j

It's awful isn't it! I'd really been looking forward to going out today, I've had a really tough week at work and was hoping for a bit of a blowout

Anyway, I've done my banking and updated my spreadsheet which has made me even more fed up - there seems to be an awful lot of month left and not much money  I purposely pay everything at the beginning of the month, as soon as I get paid, but it always makes my bank balance look a bit sad!

Need to renew my motivation for dieting and debt busting! :D

Having a bit of a reflective moment and I thought I'd share this sad fact with you - in the last 5 years I have only been on 3 dates  and I wasn't asked for a 2nd date by any of them

But at least you got the initial date, so you must be doing something right. Theres always someone else out there, maybe they where not right for you and you had a lucky escape?
There are many things I'd like to say to you, but I don't how...

    Thanks :A

I realised after I had posted that I sounded a bit sorry for myself and I didn't really mean to! I was more trying to say that we should enjoy the here and now rather than waiting for somebody else to provide our 'fantasy future' :D At the rate I'm going it could take a while to find my 'Mr Right' !!! ;)
