Sarah good news on using your savings, I did think it was a bit bonkers having them and the debt. I did get the saftey net thing of the savings though, if work is irregualr. Crumbs you might be debt free by Christmas? that is fantastic. See you are always saying we will get out of this rut! and there you go xxxxxxx

I am out of one rut and into another, am hoping this one will be slightly easier to tolerate though. I am concerned with work being iffy at the moment, but I have decided to be blindly positive:D

7hrs til my flight, just had a mild panic that I hadn't called to confirm the internet booking but had a nice lady tell me it's unneccesary :D
Getting a lift from the housemate to the station in an hour and a half and I haven't even started packing haha!

Being the sensible chappy I am I brought 30quid cash back with me to Oz meaning that I don't have to use the incredibly expensive airport money exchange, I'll go to the Post Office instead.

    Hey All

Hope you are well and dandy.

Welcome London Fraggle (I'm in London too and if you need any moneysaving tips for the Capital let me know - I try not to pay full price for anything and am always on the look out for bargains and cheap things to do...I hate staying in all the time but refuse to pay London prices!!)

I don't have a great deal planned this weekend. A friend who works at an arts centre has some free tickets for a concert on Sun night so we are going out for cheap burgers (Hurrah for GBK voucher!) first. Should be a cheap one.

Other than that I keep meaning to tidy up and clean and stuff like that but instead get side-tracked with books / tv / dvds so will try and keep up with that.

Also our local library has offer whereby you borrow things on 6 seperate occasions and you are rewarded with a free dvd loan. So I'm going every week!

My ex came over last night - late ;) - at least it meant I was forced into tidying up the worst of the carp....(all done at high speed as he gave me 30 mins notice.....)
I've got my own flat :j:j

Now I have to pay the bills

And feed my interiors addiction ;)

Oh no Summer - try not to feel too bad about your situation.

Knowing the truth and doing something about it is far more liberating than sticking your head in the sand.

Well done on doing something about your debt. I'll have a look for your SOA and see if I can be helpful.

Do you have something planned for weekend? If you are completely brassic still try and think of something fun to do (hard in the rain I know!!) how about re-reading an old fave book or watching a DVD you've been meaning to watch???
