I walked past Agent Provocateur today and I would love to spend £200 on underwear from there, I want the tacky stuff that husbands give their wives, I want the works, stockings with lines painted up them, the works, but what is the fri**ing point as you say when no-one will see it? Pointless really. I have been eating chocolate as a substitute, which people constantly slag me for. Don't they realise it's becasuse I'm single and they're not? I didn't eat it when I was with my ex. Am I not allowed anything? Christ, a gin and tonic and a bar of chocolate. I ain't having mad rampant s*x and hanging from the chandaliers, am I not allowed something?

Rant rant rant rant........on a plus note have just finished watching Donnie Darko. He is beautiful.

Am so sick of fighting. Why should I? How many married people do you know who had to fight to get there? I know we all know women who had given up hope and got married in their 30s/40s, but not all of them do. Most just expect it and get it. What the hell are we doing wrong? Am so bloody sick of fighting. How the f*** did this happen? Why are we the ones who have to fight for it?

i think the exact same thing. and when it was the two of us (me and my ex) I was getting paid £24K + £3K bonus a year, he was getting paid £41K a year = £68K a year. We had a takeaway religiously every Friday night for about 2 years and bought everything we wanted. We spent £6K between us on a 3 and a half week holiday once. Now I'm just skint all of the time.

I don't think we have something missing. We can all think of eejits who are paired up and lovely people who are single.

I don't care about the bills, or the stuff. A park, a radio and a library will keep me entertained quite happily (yes, incurable hippy).

But I would like a hug when I get in and a shoulder to sleep on.

I tell you what tho.. I DO do that stuff.. for ME!

Every night.. I clean my face.. put the creams on.. brush my hair.. prance about in the mirror.. and every night I put perfume on just before I get into bed. haha :rotfl:

I do that for ME!

I even put perfume on now.. before I go out and do the gardening.. for ME! :T

I have loads of expensive underwear lying rould here. The only way a man will see it is if I am in a car crash and I have to have my clothes cut off.

I used to want that.. but I dont now.. I notice I have become much more selfish.. :rotfl:

I dont want someone else in my bed every night wriggling about.. taking the duvet.. snoring.. f*rting (whatever) haha... I want the WHOLE bed to myself! :A
