Hey Sarah, my Barclaycard is what I am planning to hit first starting end of June, will take me 3 months I think.

    Shall we have a race?

We seem to have the same tastes, even in debt in seems!

:rotfl:Okay, we shall agree to both have the dreaded Barclaycards cleared by August. Then we will cut them up so we can't run them up again:D

Double yay! to nice underwear!! We all need to feel nice about ourselves! And good luck with the Barclaycard race.. will take longer than that to blitz mine unfortunately:D
Had a great time on the work jolly.. drinking in the very swanky hotel bar till 4.30am ... ouch!! Met some great people and had a real good giggle. Accidentally went shopping the next day and bought some sunnies and a new belt.. not very MSE I know but the logic went that I'd had everything else laid on for free.. so why not
May even possibly have bagged myself a date next week.. possibly??? we shall see..:o
Been pretty crazy at work since my return so trying not to lapse back into bad ways but did buy a sandwich and a coffee cos I didn't get organised to take anything in with me.. Have sorted tomorrows lunch tho..
Keep on trying is my new motto!!!

    Hi Girls!

I've just paid off my Barclaycard :j so am now going to tackle my overdraft - will take much longer than 3/4 months though  I think that's why I get so disheartened - the debts seem to stretch on into the future for so long, and it's not as if my overdraft is my only debt! Have about another £25k to go after that :o

And I have spent the evening looking at beautiful apartments - and beautiful shoes!! Was soooo close to clicking the 'buy' button on some gold wedges on Next :o

    I am a lost cause :D:D

Make that 2 lost causes as I was just on the Next website too:D Did not buy anything though, was just looking at a skirt I have been admiring for a while and checking it has not sold out. Is on my list of things to get when my debt is under a certain amount.

I have a list like that but mine is for when I've lost weight! Or alternatively, to cheer myself up when I haven't lost weight :o

    As I said - a lost cause :D

Also yay to nice underwear... my version of shoe obsession ;) ! Can't find anything I like in M&S at the minute and am getting v cross with shops only making cute stuff up to a D - so have accidentally ordered two sets from Bravissimo :o:D . Didn't think to look for codes etc so will try that.

I reckon I can get rid of my overdraft by August so will remind myself that it has to keep pace with your Barclaycard race. Am also going for paying off one thing at a time, it seems slow but I am looking back and realising that actually I have made progress overall because the other debts are going down and because I'm 'working with what I have' (copyright SarahB :D) I haven't been running things back up again.

Am plus D size too and agree it's a struggle to find nice stuff sometimes, I found some bras which were more very pretty work day bras rather than something eye popping;) but if you do find any at M&S you like there are lots of codes on the discount board to make them almost half price. I am very pleased as I just won't buy anything for full price anymore and it makes a change to find nice underwear that goes higher than a D. :D
