    Gwen80-stop buying those magazines! :p
i cant really give much advice on what to buy a pregnant woman:rolleyes:, not really my strong point:rotfl:
i know vouchers seem abit lame sometimes but then at least she has a choice on what she could buy:confused:[/QUOTE]

I know! That's half the reason I have no money. Magazines, clothes, expensive theatre tickets, Costa coffee's....at least my spending diary is being quite revealing. Also, just putting my bills into a budget thing last week, made me realise there isn't an awful lot of room for maneovre between my incomings and outgoings. I need to reduce what I can and get more money coming in.

My friend has tickets for the Men's Final at Wimbledon in July (yes, the Men's Final!) and she wants me to go with her! Great, except the tickets are 100 quid, plus hotel, plus train to London and spends. There's no way I'm not going though, I'll sell a kidney before I miss that. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity. But I do want to find the money to pay for it before July.

Thanks for the present ideas! I was thinking vouchers aswell, then she can get what she wants when she needs it, but I'm liking the jewellry and massage ideas too. I'm going to look at nice jewellry.

How's everybody doing? I'm having quite a productive day. I think I can shift some of my other credit card balances onto my Barclaycard and save some interest. That would be good and help me pay them off faster.

Presently turning things upside down trying to find my credit cards so that I can order pin numbers for them for imminent car MOT and service on the 20th. I can't find them!!! Grrr.

At least I have found all the docs I need. Going to search again and if I can't find them then order them all tomorrow.

    How annoying!

    Hi all,
did my gardening just got more weeding tomorrow, but my veggies are coming along nicely.

Sarah I remember ages ago soeone telling me her daughter lost weight by having smaller portions, get the smaller plate,it'll look like you have loads then.

Yorkshire lad, there's quite a few folk who I work with come from Barnsley, and the only other bit of interesting info I have on Barnsleyis the town hall is white.

Am I wrong where's Lula I know she was having a carp time but she should be back now. I miss her, she talks a lot of sense.

    Hi all,
Been lurking for a while, was on the original thread moons ago. Hugs to all those not having the best of times.
I just had a bizarre experience when a charity collector knocked on my door asking me to sign up, general chit chat was then joined by his collegue to be over complimented about how young I looked and a number of other "chat up" lines. One even left his phone number with me. I know I wanted to meet new people but dont think I quite had that in mind. Lol
Hoping for sun where everyone is tomorrow to cheer up moods.

    Hi all,

Haven't been out today yet. I have been cleaning my little "living space" for 3 hours today. How so much dust can accumulate in a week is boggling me.

I spent £29 on make-up yesterday and £36 on necklaces from Accessorize yesterday. Damn.

I've got to ask, I'm dying to know - what did you buy??

I've downshifted from my normal Chanel foundation to Maybelline recently. Really like my Chanel, but Maybelline will do for work, the Chanel still comes out for (v.occasional) nights out though.

I got 2 Benefit Ooh La La concealers. They are cheaper than the £23 a time Touche Eclats that I think just don't contain enough for my money.

I got a pearly necklace, and two other necklaces.
