Hiya All, hope the bank holiday weekend is good even tho I have to work Monday, my plans aren't exciting tho have decided to empty 1 of my compost bins and tip it in to 1 of the others, and mow the lawns.

Yorkshire lad where abouts are you in this great County of ours?

Gwen can't you think of another plan and not take the scarf back, even tho I think it's quite a bit for a scarf.

I don't think I can. I think the reality of my situation is starting to hit me. I applied for a 0% interest credit card in March and got refused. First time ever, I've been refused. I'd missed a few payments on my credit cards, just through forgetting, but it's affected my credit rating. I immediately set up direct debits to pay the minimum on all of them so I cannot get caught out again, but I have to sort this out and get rid of them.

I wasn't in work today and I feel dead guilty cos I've done nothing, but sleep. I don't know why I'm so tired all the time. Every weekend I could just sleep. I'm going to start taking the multi-vits with iron in again as I seemed to have more energy when I was on those.

I hope everybody else has had a more productive day

    Hi everybody

Hope you're all having a good bank holiday weekend. I'm part way through a massive clear out/clean up. Have accumulated so much rubbish. Don't worry - anything that can be ebayed is going on one side ;-) I've got loads to do, but it's feeling quite therapeutic at the moment. One thing I've realised is I really have to stop buying magazines. All I do is skim through them, then leave them there for weeks until they eventually get taken to the recycling.

I've done a bit of clicking, but will do more later. I need to create myself a sheet with all the sites, usernames and passwords for easy reference. I joined up to a few and tried to get the bonuses that EagerLearner had talked of, but none of them are showing up yet. Grrr. Was going to get them into my current account then onto my Oasis card.

I'd forgotten its my friends birthday on Friday, so I need to budget in a gift for her. What do you get for a woman who's pregnant, but its very early days? I kind of want to get her a maternity top or something, because there's no point buying her a normal top at the moment and I know they're quite skint, so I think she'd be glad of it, but I don't want to tempt fate either, as it is very early. Hmm, tricky...

FeeFee - I quite like being single too. I think deep down I might like it too much. A bit scared though that I might stay this way forever. I'm not sure if I can see things with Gavin going anywhere or not, but I like him so I'm going to keep seeing him for the time being. Maybe he'll help me break the massive barriers I've put up, down.

Good luck with the ebaying Holly!

    Afternoon all,
not really been upto much this morning, i did intend of clear out myself but i decided to have an hour on the ps3, but an hour turned in to like 4:eek:

FeeFee, drinking and eating large quantities of food and wine is good for the soul;), after all the hard work youve put in and keeping to your budgets you deserve a treat now and again:T

    Gwen80-stop buying those magazines! :p
i cant really give much advice on what to buy a pregnant woman:rolleyes:, not really my strong point:rotfl:
i know vouchers seem abit lame sometimes but then at least she has a choice on what she could buy:confused:

    Hi all,

Haven't been out today yet. I have been cleaning my little "living space" for 3 hours today. How so much dust can accumulate in a week is boggling me.

I spent £29 on make-up yesterday and £36 on necklaces from Accessorize yesterday. Damn.

Hi all, am still in semi-lurk mode as have just got too much spinning round in my head at the moment:rolleyes: Anyway, am posting my debt and diet updates.

On the debt free front I have/will: hopeflly have an NSD apart from lottery, read papers online, post overtime claim, coins in piggy, 4x £2 coins in pot, store cupboard meals and will not use car.

On the diet front I have realised that nothing is working and I feel very fat and frumpy indeed which is doing nothing to improve my mood. Am going to try getting smaller portions as I always clear my plate, I seem to eat on atomatic pilot:rolleyes:. Am rereading a diet book and going to try eating slowly and stopping as soon as I am full and cut out snacking.

I am just so sick of being fat. Literally nothing fits and if I don't do something, by the time I fit into my clothes they will be too old fashioned to wear. Grrr. Off to do some decluttering as my room resembles a crime scene.

speaking as one who has been there - nice bit of jewellery! something that will still make her look trendy when she's feeling a bit frumpy cos of the bump. alternatively if you are pushing the boat out I think some places do a massage specially for mums to be.

Nice to see you back Sarah.
