Yea had a think about electricity usage per day and max it will be 8 imo. so 3k. Am disliking the npower idea then because I cant get out of it before 12 months is up

So with 6k gas and 3k electricity I see what I get coming up :).
  • And will npower actually pay up after 12 months?

Have to say I would, personally, avoid this company like the plague. They seem to have hit on a way of getting at or near the top of the switching sites but is it dodgy? I'll leave you to decide.

thinking for convenience sake going for eon for dual fuel with a pessimistic 7k gas and 3.5k electricity seems the best bet. While i like the idea of ebico i'd prefer to switch to eon.

Also.. any thoughts on how best to switch? I've just started supply with edf dual fuel standard tariff.... but if I switch now... I will have 1.5 months of supply with them and I'm guessing I will get charged at the higher tariff rate for the first quarter (you know the up to X KWH = 18 p after 10p).

Would it be prudent to wait 1.5 months to time it so I get through one 3 month period first?

Also can you switch suppliers every 3 months or so and get the 30 quid cashback everytime? :O
