which site did you use to compare single suppliers? thanks
https://www.energyhelpline.com - just put your dual fuel figures as normal then when the large comparison screen appears near the top there are tabs for Gas Only, Electric Only and Gas and Electric. Works like a dream. HTH.Call me Carmine....
HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -

I get totally different results coming up, is there a knack to this?
Which figures did you use? 6k gas 2.5k elec?0 -
Tried 6000 gas and 2500 electricity. (believe electricty usage is more realistic at 7 units a day (we averaged 4 at other flat!)
Dual comes out cheapest at 465 npower online 14
Gas = 212 with Ebico
Elec = 312 with scottish power online tariff
So Dual = 465 whereas Single = 522 (77 pound dearer etc).
How much is the 'fixed bonus' i wonder though.0 -
Im confused

has npower reduced there prices yet?0
-
The nPower fixed bonus is £105 or £108 per year (for a dual fuel internet direct debit tariff).
So it will cost you £570 and if you stay twelve months you will get £105 back to reduce the cost to £465.
So commit for twelve months and you save £57 (where'd you get the £77 from?) but to save that fiver per month you have to gamble and pay more than eight pounds extra per month in the first place.0 -
