I've had 2 interesting phone calls today- one from mystery shopping offering me 3 assingments, the other from my loan company saying that barclays are considering my offer, asking when could I pay................. fingers crossed they accept

I had lunch in the subsidised canteen;
Got a mother's day card and an anniversary card from poundland for (surprisingly) a pound;
Got a canvas from Ebay for mother's day for £14 (from a jpg file- 12" x 10" and the price was delivered too :T )
Picked up a DVD for a friend at work who is leaving for £3;
Still need to put those two blouses and jacket on ebay (about 3 weeks I've been saying that :rolleyes: );
Cheap dinner tonight to use up some leftover soup;
Walked hom to the car this evening rather than getting the bus (it's a half hour walk).Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
Managed to get another tray of seeds planted tonight:D and was also given a packet of runner bean seeds and packet of french beans by my lovely mum so they will be going in my veggie patch too:D
Has anyone used those little compost disc things for seed sowing,?? (you water them then they expand) was also given a pack of them but never used them before.

-had to put heating on to dry clothes
-done dooyoo review will do another now
-spent quite a bit on lunch and drinks at uni. have finished all my work now tho!
-v pleased about npower reducing electric costs!
-v pleased about student loans rate going down!

Evening everyone!
I had quite a productive day in work today- business has been slow in the afternoons so I took my laptop and wrote 6 dooyoo reviews and have just uploaded them!
Also have done
- daily scratch- more fishies!
- check banking, everything seems ok
- checked ebay as had lots of listing finishing tonight, unfortunately it's all my sisters stuff
- pay day today so paid a few bills but have to buy two new tyres this week
Also was out walking my dog tonight and had to take a different route as a road was closed so it was starting to get dark as the the other route is longer and a man stopped his car and gave me a hi-vis vest to wear as he said it wasn't safe to walk without one! Really restores your faith in humanity!0 -

- Music magpie cheque arrived
- Daliy stratch cards 10p x2

Hi Sophiesmum - yes, I've used them. I bought the really expensive ones branded by a seed retailer, then found out my brother could get them really cheap from his local garden centre (in Wales).

Cleosmum, congratulations, well done you on such an amazing result. It goes to show you can do anything once you set your mind to it. The only limits we have are the ones we create for ourselves!!
