Poor Piglet my ar*e though. He's absolutely fine. Did this last thursday at Nursery. He's very clingy lately and, as he finds it VERY easy to be sick, I think he knows I'll have to go and get him and take him home. He's now running round the garden like a lunatic. Mmm....VERY poorly.....NOT!!!!!

Is it possible to make a cheap propagator using cling film?
-
You can cling film them or put them into a clear poly bag - once the little seedlings appear (almost immediately) though you need to take of the cling flim or make a tent out the tray and bag - couple straws inserted upright does this nicely to get some air in and allow the little blighters to breathe.
Glass or plastic does the same job - you are just making a little micro climate for them.
I quite often use straws or chopsticks (2 or 4) in a tray or pot and make them a wee tent the bag sits up over the top of the chop sticks liek a wee dome.
Bread bags are good as they are usually clear (ish) and long enough to use.
2ltr pop bottles are good as well if you cut them in half and pop ontop of the pot - or !!!!! holes in those plastic clear takeaway trays and half fill them with compost water carefully plant seeds and put the lid on - instant mini propagator. Loosen lid when they are up and then once they are all germinated take lid off during day and perhaps put it on at night for the first few nights. Til they aclimatise.

Well done, sorry I didn't read earlier.
Think of it as an investment - or take it back - if you have got a propagator - its really worth it.
Pm me if you need any further nerdy plant advice - happy to be distracted!!
As I am an idiot and I garden - I can happily give anyone this idiots guide to growing plants.:DTotal debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
